A 10/10 girl told me i was hot and kissed me on the cheek last night and i was stunned. Then my confidence told me that it wasn’t true, i just low key smiled and looked at my friend. I was actually having a nice and long conversation with her, but the compliment threw me off. She ended up leaving because I can’t even take hints like that.

Don’t know if it means anything, but i feel the same and I’m 19. I always feel like I’m the ugliest loser in the room even though I’m not, and in addition to your “defense mechanism symptoms” i put up a wall that makes me seem arrogant and not interested in the girls that i talk to even though i would probably have a good chance.
