Most of the time you would be better off just saying that something is interesting. I'm not opposed to the situation where a girl could genuinely help you out in class though and that would be an honest intro. It doesn't happen often.

I am a white trust fund baby, from my dad's side. My mom grew up dirt poor, so that's probably why it sounds similar. Skin color doesn't make you different, upbringing, money, and culture do.

This is a really good video, but I don't think this would go nearly as well for most of us. He is so comfortable talking to all of these girls that it's no big deal. Also, the fuck is with that guy who got mad at him? He asked a girl out and didn't know she had a boyfriend and he wanted to fight? Never be like that guy.

I moved out. I still speak to her occasionally because for some reason I think having some contact with my parents keeps me more sane on a natural level. Once or twice a year she snaps out of it and says something genuine that makes me think she's normal somewhere in there. Idk, it's also a little creepy.

Yeah, when I was nine my mom sat down with me and asked if she could get a divorce, I broke down and said no. For the next few years she stayed because I asked her too, until they got in a fight and I said she could leave. I know how you feel, why would you ask a kid that? How could they process that sort of thing? You don't realize how bad that is until you're an adult and realize you would never do that to your kids, but you don't know when you're young because you have no perspective.

I actually just broke up with a girl because she was mad that I didn't hit her hard enough. She said, "I'm a feminist, but I basically want you to treat me like a piece of meat." She wanted me to borderline beat her in bed and I didn't want to get arrested if she ever got mad at me and had bruises.

I've never understood the paternal RP stance. People can act like children, but that doesn't mean that they are children. It would drive me mad if I were in a LTR where I thought I was dating a child.

At the same time, if a girl says no she doesn't want to have sex you don't do it, because they can legally get you on rape. I tell girls that all the time when they want to play around. I don't want to stick it in a girl and hear her scream non-consent because I was being "TRP."

Good advice. Made me laugh at myself.

How do I handle the social fallout from this? A lot of her friends are my friends and vice versa. She would be super pissed.

Lol, she got married to some random guy friend in California so that he could get in state tuition through a loophole. If neither of you live in a state and you get married there, instant residency. Our families are friends so I don't think she can bail on rent really. Should I still bail?

I was contemplating why so many people are okay with voting for an openly corrupt politician. It occurred to me that they too know the two party system has been in a stalemate. Women view Hillary's obstruction of the law as an example of somebody who has enough influence to break a "corrupt patriachical system". In short, fight corruption with corruption. She is their way to power. edit: Although I do not believe there is a patriarchy*

I don't really know what this means.

Maybe she was turned off because you looked for her to protect you in that situation, instead of the other way around. Although it sounds like you just lost a lot of self confidence when that happened and projected.

Your dad sounds just like my mom. She would follow me around for the first hour she got home from work every day in high school and just yell at me bout whatever. One plate in the sink? It would be shit like men are only useful to warm a bed etc. She doesn't know what continent I'm in right now. I can't say that I'm happier because I got rid of her, but I can say that I don't feel as angry. I wish I had a legit caring family, which makes me sad, but at least there isn't somebody abusing me anymo…

I'm moving out. Letting me starve wouldn't affect me since I won't be depending on him for more than a few weeks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
