Valid on dread, that was one of the first MRP threads I ever read and I guess I forgot how simple the first couple levels are. I have been actively trying to lead effectively and stop neglecting my hobbies. I signed up for an MMA gym tonight. I'm a lurker, not a veteran, so take my advice with a grain of salt. But if your frame is solid, why not make doing things with the family part of it? Go to a museum or set up a game night, it will include them without leaving your own frame.
