That described the discourse around men back when I was a kid in the 90s, though, too.

I know this is reddit, but I shouldn't have to explain that sex happens in real life. When these women are asking to be dominated and degraded sexually they are asking to be treated like that in real life because that's where the sex is happening.

Not me. As far as I can tell feminists have always hated men.

Why do they think that I'm obligated to desire them unconditionally? It's like they feel entitled to my body. Feminists are so rapey and oppressive.

What's wrong with being mentally weak? I have it on good authority that men are supposed to be sensitive, vulnerable, and freely and tearfully express our feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:54 PM

Yeah, but the ones who would say that to regular everyday straight guys are the same people who would never tolerate that kind of rhetoric aimed at the trans.

Correct, but the people he's going to for advice aren't telling him that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 03:17 PM
24

That's consistent with my own experience. When I was in high school I was a nice kid, but was bullied until I wanted to kill myself because I was chubby. Dating was right out. My sister was a pathological narcissist who was much fatter than I was but was one of the more popular kids and dated a tall football player. She has since come out as bisexual and dated more girls than me. Stereotypical butch lesbians to be fair, but the disparity still irks me.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 03:01 PM

I have. For instance, I've heard that being attracted to Sigourney Weaver is a gay "tell" and that even out gay men see her in that role as an attractive "exception" to their orientation.

Women aren't owed an education, nor being comfortable in a male dominated field, nor government mandated equal pay. These are pretty reasonable things to feel entitled to.

LOL, truth. Also: "Women are just like men! Supposed differences are just sexist stereotypes!" "So when you look at someone attractive you feel physically drawn to bang them?" "Oh, no. That's male sexuality. Female sexuality is nothing like that."

Hypergamy: Women want to date up, get the best mate they can, and value looks and status Women constantly told me when I was a child that valuing potential partners based on their looks was "pig" behavior, that male beauty standards were unrealistic and oppressive, that it was what's on the inside that counts, and so on. I assumed women were living up to the standards they held others to until it became obvious they were hypocritical. I was also told that I lived in a patriarchy that unfairly ga…
