That may be true

Absolutely not true. The average man does just fine with women. He just needs to take reasonable care of himself, not smell, and not be a dick. I am about as average as it gets, I live in jogging bottoms and a t-shirt, I’m going bald, drink way too much, and work a job that is almost minimum wage. I also have almost always lived in social housing. Always done just fine. If women won’t date an average guy, it’s a problem with that guy, not women. And if the women he finds attractive aren’t into h…

By a fraction. Women also have to buy other things that men don’t. This is a stupid argument.

How do men need more money exactly?

He said himself he smashed up the house, not that night, but had done before. That’s abuse, just because it’s not physical towards her doesn’t make it ok. Abuse isn’t always a physical act.

2 abusers abusing each other, they both need to be on the same course

I’d really like to see this story, to get a better understanding of it. That seems insane

There’s absolutely no one blaming men in any of that...

Family issues are the main thing for me too. It’s just a given that the mother should get the kids. According to the lawyer I had it was also just a given that the mother would make up some kind of abuse, whether it was against the kids or her, and face no problems afterwards. She told me beforehand to expect it. My only other issue is sentencing in court, women are given much more lenient sentences generally than men. There’s all sorts of movements to keep women out of jail, but nothing for men…

The laws on divorce and child care need a complete rewrite, that’s not news. It’s been that way for years. Divorce should be no fault, split everything 50/50, including childcare, obviously unless there’s a proven legal reason otherwise. Any parent who doesn’t follow the court order (without legal reason) needs to go to jail for child abduction. It’s that simple. Children have been put at risk in this country for years because of our divorce laws and fathers not being recognised as real parents.…

Parents often put themselves against each other anyway, it’s not the law that does it. In my case the law protects me from a complete idiot, allowing me to get legal aid.

I was advised I could claim legal aid if I got a letter from my doctor agreeing that my ex wife constantly keeping my son away from me was emotional abuse. Men can also use these laws and do.

Oh I agree, if you can’t parent then you shouldn’t have the kids. But I feel like that’s obvious, I’m not suggesting 50/50 no matter what happens. The main thing should always be the welfare of the kids, but courts don’t usually think of that first in my opinion, or they’re wrong about what it actually means. I read somewhere today that a mother was jailed for withholding a child from their father in the U.K. it was the 18th time she’d gone against the court order. That’s a kind of child abuse i…

If those are the rules she should be told to put a shirt on and it appears that considering they refused to give her the picture, I assume she also had to put a shirt on. Which is pretty much how I’d expect it to be handled with a guy too

Ah, I see the issue. In the USA nudity equals sex. Fair enough, she should be told to put a shirt on. I’m from the U.K. where breastfeeding is completely normal. I see breasts while sitting in a restaurant or grabbing a coffee at Starbucks. Women are also regularly topless at the beach on the 2 days it’s sunny here. So to me seeing breasts is 100% normal

My only issue with men’s rights is the ridiculousness of parental rights, child custody and divorce. Divorce should just be a 50/50 split of everything, end of, no fault by anyone needed. Child custody the same, 50/50 split (after 1 year old, due to breastfeeding) and the child should be required to stay in the city/town they’re normally a resident of unless BOTH parents agree to moving. If your job requires you to move, tough luck for whichever parent that is, find a new job or move alone. If e…

Agreed. And for the people saying this is indecent exposure or whatever I have a question. You do know that breasts are for feeding kids right? I’d hope that would mean kids find them perfectly normal things to see

Most are decided in mediation, but it’s because if it goes before a judge men wouldn’t get custody. They often just accept any deal that gets them some time.

She’ll certainly be welcomed back into society, in the U.K. the attitude seems to be pretty understanding of her actions, but I actually agree with your other points. I also don’t think a man would be released under these circumstances. However it does set a precedent and that will definitely be tested over the next few years. Someone keeping a man from his kids? That can create a pretty crazy mindset and this is setting a precedent for murder suddenly being understandable.

Never saw that happen, in high school I was asked out 3 times, politely declined every time (I was a late bloomer, wasn’t interested in girls until around 19 years old). No one called me a jerk and not a single other person cared. Everyone else had their own shit to worry about

I disagree, you can turn down anyone you want. I have turned people down and I’ve also, on occasion, had sex when I wasn’t in the mood. Being a male didn’t have anything to do with it. You’re just dating and being friends with the wrong people.

If I struggled with sex in a monogamous relationship I wouldn’t be in one. Never had identity issues, I am who I am but I’m also a father a boyfriend. Value systems are pretty similar, neither of us want to get married but we probably will one day because of visa’s. We divide the housework pretty evenly, nothing that I can really complain about. Besides her being annoyed if I come home drunk we’re pretty good. A lot of people expect too much out of life. Both me and my gf are happy with our lot.…

I’m currently in an unmarried monogamous relationship. We don’t have any major issues, we live together, we have a daughter, we’re just not married. In the future I hope the relationship stays pretty much how it is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
