Water isn't wet. Wetness is a description of our experience of water; what happens to us when we come into contact with water in such a way that it impinges on our state of being. We, or our possessions, 'get wet'.

It should also be stated that you don't have to drink or do drugs when you go out. Right now I physically can't drink due to a medication I'm taking, but that hasn't stopped me one bit. In fact, I've had just as much fun and have gotten several numbers while sober at the club and bars. It's only the social stigma of not drinking that is holding people back.

Try to go at least 90 days without it. At the worst, it will be a willpower challenge that will have a positive affect on other areas of your life as OP says. For me I don't feel empowered when I PMO, I feel drained and like a failure. So that is my reasoning behind doing it.

That's some crazy willpower you have right there.

Hey dude, would love to hear your experience on 72 Days of NoFap and how you did it. That's a huge streak and you should be proud. I'm on 8 days now and get strong urges due to habit but would love to hear from your experience to keep going.

You're supposed to push past that. It's your brain resisting and wanting to get back to it's comfort zone. What lies on the other side is true self esteem and power.

Hey man, I think I'm currently in a similar place as you. My longest streak on NoFap is about 11 days, and I'm currently on an 8 day streak. What I'm currently doing is a 30-day experiment to see what will happen when I quit PMO. I've read so much in regards to whether PMO is harmful or not, that I decided, fuck it, I'm just going to do my own experiment. I trust myself more than anyone else on the internet. Now, 8 days in, whenever I get urges to PMO, I just mentally remind myself that I'm tryi…

Currently 7 days in. My brain keeps trying to trick me into watching it again. I think in the not so distant future (with VR porn and realistic sex dolls) we will see porn addiction become more prevalent, but still be undertreated outside of the NoFap community. Society overlooks this while men are quickly becoming beta males and losing their natural aggression. Men are meant to be aggressive, and PMO takes that away from you. I've already committed to my own 30 day challenge, however I am plann…

Did you ever consider that you might have felt depressed because you are addicted to the dopamine hits from PMO? The official website for NoFap states that you need 90 days to reset your receptors, sometimes longer.

Fap when you need to, but don't watch porn. That shit is terrible for your brain. If you don't believe me, go read up on porn studies or read "Your Brain on Porn". Add meditation and cold showers to not watching porn and you will be golden.

Another suggestion if you don't want to find 2 trees and bring rope is to buy one of these "Air Chairs". It's super portable, lightweight, and you can use it literally anywhere. This isn't the one I have but I'm attaching it for reference: https://www.amazon.com/Air-Chair-OriginalTM-Inflatable-Parachute/dp/B01HBXRPAQ/ref=sr_1_2?s=outdoor-recreation&ie=UTF8&qid=1497913085&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=inflatable+hammock&psc=1

Improvements: Applied to over 50 jobs, I have one interview on Monday and a couple more in the pipeline. Meeting with my friend Luke on Tuesday to discuss a business opportunity. Setbacks: My "approaches" at the club were half-assed and terrible. Did not show outcome independence and really was acting like a huge beta. Really felt almost futile out there, I really need to be more confident in my approach. Need to meditate more consistently. Only lifted twice this week. Still doing PMO which real…

Nice, keep it up. I use the Calm app but I really have been lacking consistency lately, which is the key to getting the full benefits.
