I absolutely love it and can't wait to get my hands on it! I have heard that most TF scents are unisex, so I didn't want it to be too dark/masculine... but from smelling it, it's just so perfect! Thanks for the tip about ends of hair - what a great idea!

That's a great idea - I never thought about roller balls for trialling out a perfume. Thank you!

I really loved Black Opium when I smelled it last - my best friend wears it and she always smells delicious. Thanks for the tip!

This depends where you are - in Australia we have really stupid defacto laws that make you pretty much married, even if you aren't. They start at two years I believe.

I have always been into beauty, health and my appearance - so I'm always giving my girlfriends tips and tricks. Happy to share and make sure to let me know if you have any questions! Start off by watching YouTube tutorials and see how "guru's" apply makeup. If you're going for a natural look, which I would recommend to start with, there are some really great tutorials online. All of the tips they share are really helpful! My favourite guru at the moment is Freddy My Love (https://www.youtube.com…

I know, I know. It was just a little win... a little childish, I agree. But amusing. Thanks for your comment!

Happy 2016! My goals for this week: Finish unpacking from my overseas holiday and start working on getting my body clock back to normal - I have been drinking a lot of tea and eating very healthy for the last week, which has made me feel incredible! Working on my blog (side project) and getting back into the swings of things - I have a lot of content to write up that I will get on to this weekend. Start working on a budget to save for a big trip I have in June. Catching up with a few friends on …

Haha, this made me laugh a little for some reason. He really does, and the worst thing is that he can't see it. Thanks for your comment. You're totally right.

I would have probably gone on a date with him as he's a good 'first impression', but I would have cut it off a long time ago and moved on. Thank you!

I completely agree about him being similar to his martial arts loser friend. He doesn't have a car because he can't save and can't budget properly - I'm assuming that's why he had to sell his old car. Pretty unattractive for a 30 year old, especially when he's had the past decade to get his life together! Thanks for the comment.

I agree with Pinterest! You should definitely check it out - I pretty much pin anything from gift ideas, hair ideas for my next appointment, nice outfits, etc. Whenever I'm feeling a bit flat, I go on it for a bit of inspiration. I also like that the Pinterest algorithm starts noticing what you like and serves you content that's relevant.

Thanks, you're right. Most of the items in my background were just contextual - I didn't want to sound like a naggy person who didn't bring anything to the table. I will definitely work towards being more humble in future posts, as well as in real life.

It's actually my apartment and fully furnished by me (he just brought his bed and clothes), and originally I told him that if anything went sour, he would be the one moving. I raised this with him before leaving and he gave some vague excuse: "I have been moving around all year and I just settled in, so I guess that would be OK, however I'd take my time in finding a new place". It makes so much sense for him to move. PS. love your username!

Apparently, he sold his a few months ago after major engine failure and wanted to buy a motorbike instead (which he hasn't done). However, I AGREE. Another alarm bell.

You're right. He's not alpha, he's just acting like a dick. Not time-worthy.

To be honest, when I met him I didn't find him super attractive because I was in 'housemate mode'. He was a nice guy - I thought he was gay. He was respectful, clean, had a decent job and could pay on time. It also a few months for anything to happen. You're right though, next housemate is DEFINITELY going to be a girl!

Thanks for your advice, you're spot on. I don't have a problem with his count at all - I assume it to be particularly high, just gathering from what he's spoken about (mine is pretty low). However, I think he has made bad partner/sex choices, which puts me off a little. I don't want children - but I do ideally want to commit to someone instead of dating around. I have always been open about not wanting children and have never really had any issues, as I've always been really young and either my …

Agree - I think the message is just control your alcohol, never appear to be drunk/trashy in front of people/your man. Always be composed. Wine tasting is totally different to doing shots at a club!

Thanks for your comment, it's really gold and there are a ton of key pieces in here that I will reflect on and that have been super helpful. Just some last items: I definitely think he can get girls, but a stripper is not comparable in SMV to me and he knows that, which is why I was LTR material and she wasn't. He knows that I have always dated men with high SMV that have been successful and ambitious, as well as good looking. He has said previously that I am the only girl that has ever made him…

Thanks Kittenkajira - you're totally right. I do have a few male friends, but they are not VERY close and I have very clear boundaries with them. This has NEVER been a problem with any of my previous relationships, but I totally agree that living with a man was a really silly decision in the first place. You have totally made me reflect on the importance of choosing the right person, and not just taking what's there or what's convenient. I will focus on dating mindfully in the future. Thank you …

Thanks - you're totally right. The hard thing is that some weeks, our relationship seems perfect and we really connect. Of course, I'm highlighting the issues but there are also wonderful moments where he goes out of his way to care - e.g. bought me rose petals so I could have a rose petal bath one time when I was sore, and also bought me (OUT OF THE BLUE!) the Alexander Wang bag that was on my wish list that he discovered when he browsed through my blog. He can be a wonderful, caring partner to…

Thanks for your comment - so insightful. The thing is, he's not a drug user and barely, barely drinks - so it hasn't bugged me until now. He will have a glass of wine with me, but it's really concerning why he doesn't have successful, 'normal' friends. I know he's also in touch with his ex-girlfriend as I have seen her name come up on his screen a few times and he visits his dog often. I don't mind that he's friends with her as they shared a lot together, I mostly feel bad for her because she re…

I'm really confused about the whole UTI thing - I guess I'll discuss it more when I get back home with him. We had been having A LOT of sex before I left, so maybe it's due to that (we were both a bit sore). Exactly - I feel like he has alpha traits that I'm attracted to, but he isn't an alpha as a whole (see my answer to LifterofThings above about being 'kept'). I feel like I guide him more than he does me, however he does make me realise when I am being a bit short tempered or bratty. I am hap…

The interesting thing is that a lot of the time I feel a lot more 'alpha-female' than him (not sure if this is a good way to look at things) - I am more educated, more socially connected, more attractive and generally have my life a lot more together than him. I feel like a lot of the time I take care of him and 'lead him' (teach him about things he doesn't know, give him business advice, lend him my car), which in turns get me bored and feeling like I'm lacking a more ambitious man that takes t…
