Would anyone date an ex ftm transgender? In that case I think it would depend on how feminine you come off now. If someone just met you today, would there be any doubt as to whether you were a woman or a man? If no, then I don't think you would have anything to worry about. If yes, it depends on the man. As I said anything that took place before you came to Christ is forgiven so it shouldn't be a sin issue, it would come down to finding a man who didn't have a problem with your voice and any other lasting effects of the T. I think you … | /r/RPChristians | 28/09/20 08:39 PM
Would anyone date an ex ftm transgender?Did you just "act" and dress male or did you have surgery, take testosterone, etc? If the former I think most could over look it the same as anything else in your past that was before you were saved. If the latter, then it is much more complicated. | /r/RPChristians | 28/09/20 07:34 PM
Nowhere else to turn: Husband seeming to have trouble accepting a baby girl and I don't know what to do/how to support himIt sounds like this is a situation worth bringing your pastor into or a trusted older Christian man in the church to help him see the error in his thinking. My wife always imagined having a boy (even had a boy name picked since she was like 13, lol), and I always did too. It seemed even more important to have a boy when it took us a few years of trying to get pregnant. We ended up having a girl and we both went through short periods of sadness but it went away fairly quickly for her. For me, it … | /r/RPChristians | 18/08/20 02:04 PM
How can you tell when you need to change things up?Then that clears it up a bit...you definitely need to start putting in applications today. You say yourself that you could get laid off anytime, the extra unemployment has ended I think (or ending soon) so likely that won't pay the bills, so you need to start preparing for that so there isn't as much downtime between them laying you off and you getting a new job. Ideally, you can jump ship before it goes down. | /r/RPChristians | 17/07/20 11:20 PM
How can you tell when you need to change things up?I agree with what the others have said, now is a good time to at least do SOMETHING towards your goals. It would have been better for me to work on getting in shape years ago, but I didn't so now as I type this, the best time for me to do that is RIGHT NOW. And it doesn't end, it applies to pretty much everything in your life. Years ago I had a job I hated. I worked there for over a year and I basically just waited for the right thing to come along. I put in applications for jobs but only ones t… | /r/RPChristians | 17/07/20 09:13 PM
Too young to be dating?Don't get stuck on her because you see her as the only girl available, but also there is no harm in hanging out. I would just suggest getting to know her as a friend first then go from there. If there is mutual attraction you can date. Don't let the inability to drive yourself deter you. My wife and I started dating about 6-7 months before I could drive on my own. Yeah, it was a little embarrassing getting dropped off by my mom but she was too. We sometimes went to the movies, or bowling, etc bu… | /r/RPChristians | 17/07/20 05:17 PM
I lost 30 lb due to fasting. How do I gain it back without being a glutton?I'd say protein is your friend, and work out so you are gaining the right kind of weight. | /r/RPChristians | 10/07/20 02:16 AM
Would anybody be interested in an official quality audio recording of the sidebar posts? It would be beneficial for me. I drive a lot for work and listen to audio books daily. Would help me to get through the material quicker if I could listen to it during times like those. | /r/RPChristians | 15/11/18 04:05 PM
Trimming DownI've been doing something similar since June. I started out doing 16:8 IF (fasting for 16 hours and doing all of your eating during an 8 hour window, such as from 10am to 6pm). I found that to be quite easy and helped me avoid snacking just because I felt like snacking. From there I took it further and now I do at least 20:4 and only eat between the hours of 4pm and 8pm although somtimes I don't feel like eating yet at 4pm so I just go ahead and do one meal a day (OMAD) that day. I am down about… | /r/RPChristians | 24/08/18 03:29 PM

Introduction/AccountabilityThanks, will do. Unfortunately I already missed my Wednesday workout but I plan to make it up today and then push Friday's workout to Saturday. The reason I had to push it was because of the squats on Monday...I didn't know how much the bar weighed and after looking all over the bar for a number I decided to guess. Later when I went to do bench press the guy using it before me told me that all the bars were 45 pounds. So I ended up squatting 25 pounds more than I was supposed to. It was difficul… | /r/RPChristians | 09/08/18 12:54 PM
Introduction/AccountabilityOh yeah, also she has started some trying to lose weight after seeing me lose. I think she said she is down like 5 pounds from her highest. She recently stopped drinking pop and is trying to avoid snacking (which has always been a big problem for her). No I have not always been that big, 320 is my highest. I was about 190 when we got married and was up to about 200 or 210 when I got my first IT job 2 years later. Since it is mostly sitting at a desk looking at a computer and I didn't change my d… | /r/RPChristians | 09/08/18 01:15 AM
Introduction/AccountabilitySorry, I'm not sure how to easily respond piece by piece like that. Though really the only thing I planned to reply to was about the daughter thing. Yes my daughter is 5. Actually, it isn't my wife who is affected (effected?) most by it and I think she would be fine just letting her bang on the door....I had a lot of fear as a child and it just tears me up seeing her so terrified. We do lock the door during the day and let her watch TV so we can have some "mommy and daddy time" and she does fine… | /r/RPChristians | 09/08/18 01:07 AM
Introduction/AccountabilityThanks and I agree except for the daughter thing. I probably should have mentioned, about a year ago my wife was in a car accident where the car was totaled and my daughter was in the car. Luckily neither was seriously hurt but my daughter has like legit panic attacks. I very may well be in my daughters frame, but it isn't because of my wife. I just hate to see that pure terror in her eyes the few times she has tried to come in with the door locked. She sees a therapist and is improving (for a w… | /r/RPChristians | 08/08/18 07:09 PM
Reworking the SidebarSorry for the stupid question, but I don't see a sidebar probably due to this issue (relatively new to Reddit). How do I find it? | /r/RPChristians | 31/07/18 05:07 PM
Should there be secrets within a marriage (specifically a Christian marriage)?I feel like that is dishonest of you. If you are a Christian, you and your wife are one. You shouldn't let someone tell you a secret you can't tell your wife. Lets say one of the secrets is that a friend of yours got an abortion. If you wife asked you about it directly would you lie? Say "I can't say"? If my wife knows it, then it IS her secret. Once a secret is told it isn't owned anymore. | /r/RPChristians | 25/04/18 08:25 PM
Should there be secrets within a marriage (specifically a Christian marriage)?Drama may have been the wrong word, it has serious ramifications as the teen may soon no longer be living with them. | /r/RPChristians | 25/04/18 08:16 PM
