I met her two days before the party and I’ve already been making moves

Nice put, man. But the girl I’m interested in (girl A), is a friend of my friend (girl B) and I met A through B. Girl B sort of invited girl A to the party so I actually had no control of the situation. I was about to walk A to her next destination but the dude tagged along and kept talking to her. Should I have called him out after A left?

No, nampa in the Japanese context means picking up a girl to have an instant date then bang at a love hotel. What you described is キャッチ (directly translates to catch).

Not in Japan, but I’ve bedded many Japanese girls in the west. If you can get a date it’s very likely you can score on the first date.

I’ve been with girls mostly from Japan and this is totally normal from my experience. She wanted you to fuck her that day but you didn’t. She lost interest after that.

I’m in my early 30s and have been dating girls around 21-25. I always jokingly say I am an old uncle, they always laugh and say I am not that old. Own it and joke about it.

Very common, girls tend to be very emotional during the date and gets really rational when the date is over. You didn’t necessarily do anything wrong, it could be just them rationalizing and reanalyzing if being with you is a good idea. From my personal experience, either I close them on the first date and then we date for a fairly long time, or I don’t close them and then we never see each other again.

Hotel, Airbnb, car, her place, a friend’s spare room

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
