This might be true, although I would caution that the future is much harder to predict. Even if AI dominates the world and jobs are replaced there would be such significant change that there is no way to truly plan for it. "Turning yourself into a machine with 5 hours of practice per day" certainly isn't the best way to spend your life. Second this. Work on game, get reasonably decent style and you will be fine. I have plenty of friends who don't work out but who have reasonable enough game and style and can slay. The competition from guys in their peak SMV isn't that much of a problem if your SMV is high enough. I know girls who have sugar daddies but that doesn't stop them from still wanting to fuck younger guys too.

Good point, it's always relative. Sucking it up in everything always is a surefire way to stay miserable, the goal is to suck up the bad times in favor of working towards a better life. In the gym it's obvious, if you work harder and push harder you see better results. In life you need to make clear goals and really be pursuing those while simultaneously sucking up your current situation to the extent that you can. Balance is key, but for short term struggles I always say suck it up if you can.

Took a similar class because it fulfilled multiple requirements for my gen eds. Honestly, just parrot back whatever your teacher teaches you and get an easy A. The demographic of the class is unlikely to change their views on the topic regardless of the facts so just play dumb and agree with the professor. Even if your work is sub par you can get good grades because this type of professor will grade based on feels and validation more than objective quality of work.

Spend your time imagining the future you will have as a well off 35 yr old successful guy with money, looks and perhaps infamy... listening to these women sob about how they "can't find a good man anymore", while you're still banging 25 yr olds and having the time of your life. As someone just getting started in my career this advice is invaluable to hear repeated over and over again. It always refocuses me and gets me thinking big picture and acting on my goals.

With no real experience in my field I negotiated a significantly better starting salary than women with master's degrees did. They took the first offer amount they were given. It will take them years to get raises to where I am now and by then I will have moved on to the next thing, which you better believe I will negotiate as well. All the women I work with didn't negotiate. The men I work with all negotiated, although most not as hard as they could have.

Good post, thanks for making this. Though these are pretty straightforward it is always good to have a reminder of the positive behaviors we should be doing. I need to become more diligent about meditating, as well as cutting down on the binge drinking. Usually about once every two weeks I get plastered with my buddies (who are always drinking).
