As others have said, everything about this is wrong. Aside from proposing movies and restaurants (both bad ideas for a first date), are you even engaging these women when you talk to them? Or flirting with them in any way?

I think this guy has been posting on porn message boards for years claiming to be the son of various porn stars. I think at one point he claimed to be Ryan Conner's son despite looking nothing like her?

If this was some kind of crap job and you were being funded by rich parents or something, I'd say go for it. But in your case, I think this could likely stunt your career, so I'd stick with the job, and meanwhile improve yourself, and then go on weekend trips if you can.

Don't try so hard to be flirty over text if you don't know what you're doing / you just met her. And if you have to use AI to do this, think again. You can make a joke but as someone else said, it's best to use texting to seal the deal for drinks with a date/time/location. Then flirt with her in person.

If you've been following him for 7 years and haven't gotten anywhere, maybe you should be looking elsewhere for advice. There is a huge Gulf between "being direct" and actually saying "you have a juicy ass, I want to fuck you". You're right to be concerned about approaching in this way You want to be direct, but in a much, much more subtle way.

I'd say learn to have conversations where you make a point of avoiding those boring mundane topics. Talk about something situational, give your opinion on it, ask her about what she thinks about it. Then go from there. When she mentions something that could be fodder for further conversation, pivot to that topic, rinse and repeat. Also don't forget to establish a flirty vibe.

Hey, sorry for the long delay in replying. Someone just wrote a good post that lines up nicely with what I like to do. Basically, be the one to lead conversations and go in with the mindset of you offering something of yourself (making observations) instead of you expecting her to lead or you immediately going in and asking her questions. Then after you do that, you can start asking them about whatever it is you talked about, and conversations flow more naturally. It's a simple shift but it make…

Yup, mindset does a lot of the heavy lifting here. The thing is, it's hard to get there with shortcuts. Communication skills & working on charisma is a big part of it. But you should also work on various aspects of yourself: going to the gym, different grooming habits (style, maybe new haircut, etc) Once you've improved at drawing people to you naturally, a lot of things fall into place more easily, and then that's the point where you can use the little seduction tips & tricks: because now they'…

Being kind & respectful doesn’t necessarily scream “attractive personality for dating” though. Were you fun or flirty? If you don’t act like you want to fuck her, then she will find someone who does.

You have a lot more problems than your height, my dude. Yes it sucks to be short, and it can be frustrating, but it’s possible to overcome. You just have to add value to their lives in other ways. Adding your own bitterness & insecurities to the mix, to the point where you’re calling yourself a “manlet” (I’m guessing this is some incel type shit lingo) is making you 1000x even less attractive. I’m guessing everyone can sense this attitude coming off of you Get off Reddit, keep crushing it at the…

Thanks, I love the “I hate the way you’re looking at me right now” one, I can definitely make that work for me! It’s a great twist on “I love the way you’re looking at me because it’s making me feel x”.

Could you give more examples of good responses to the improv exercises? I’m pretty good at convo, but there’s always room to improve here.

I wouldn’t say that you shouldn’t give a shit about ANYTHING. If you have certain values, you should certainly care about those. Just be unapologetic about it.

You don’t need to already be doing something. This is really more about the way you phrase it. And obviously you should try to tailor the date idea to her, and if it’s a first date, it should be something casual & fun. The whole point is to the lead and think of something that she would want to do, and invite her, while also communicating that you’re interested in her romantically. You can say “hey, I’m having a lot of fun chatting with you. I’d love to take you on a date.” And if you’ve been ta…

Marni Kinrys (one of the few female dating coaches who are actually good) has said that it’s because women usually give advice coming from a place of what they want to see from a guy who they are already attracted to, as opposed to how to make them attracted to a guy.

Not gonna lie, it’s tough. Best bet is to improve yourself as best you can (dressing, working out, grooming, skills, mindset) so you can start getting some wins to draw on when this happens.

Just start with conversations about what is happening in the moment/what is in the vicinity, ask what she thinks about them, and go from there.

The problem is “do you want to hang out” is really wishy-washy and non-specific. Are you asking as friends or as a potential hookup/romantic partner? Have something specific in mind and specify that it’s a date so it’s unambiguous.

You can just ask the bartender for water. That way you can still be at those places, with a drink in your hand, but without all the negative effects.

Get involved in ministries so that you look like you have leadership qualities, generally be a good person, be flirty, social, etc. Have an abundance mindset so you don’t get stuck on one girl and you don’t get needy in case things don’t work out with one girl. Be discreet. Women everywhere love to be flirted with and church is no exception. Church is actually a good place to develop a lot of these qualities because you want to be seen as a good moral person (and well, you want to actually be on…

What he said. If bars & clubs aren’t your thing, don’t go there. There are more than enough places to meet women that are more comfortable for you.

Tomorrow will be a nice sunny day in NYC. Go for a walk in a park with coffee is my first reaction. Possibly a museum date (there are tons of great options that aren’t the obvious ones). Look at her Hinge profile and see if you can think of something creative that she might like based on her pics or profile. But for a first date, I’d go with something simple and low-stakes where you can get to know her and flirt.

You need to work on yourself. Your Reddit post history is like nonstop negativity. Women can sense that and will avoid you like the plague.

Yes, chicks like it when you develop inside jokes with them. It’s a great move, not really sure how it can come off as creepy, as long as you keep it fun and light.

Part of being confident is being at peace with everything listed in 1) and still knowing that you are awesome and can get chicks.

A) don’t be a people pleaser, but don’t go too far in the other direction and be a sick either B) work out & get muscular C) wear clothes that fit you

It is mostly this, compounded by the fact that movies and TV perpetuate a lot of really bad & misleading myths about attraction.

Some of you guys need to learn that it’s not just the kiss itself that turns on the woman, but the way you lead up to it and make her anticipate it with your sexy talk. There are a ton of creative ways to ask for consent that aren’t “uhh, can I kiss you now?”

You need to work on building your social awareness, which means going out and being social. Join some kind of community (classes, volunteering, church, whatever) where you can develop your socializing skills, and bonus: these might all be places were you can meet women! But the main goal is to become someone who women would want to be with, and improving your social skills is a big step in the right direction. Good luck.

I’m not the OP but what are some ways to get over having a jealous mindset, similar to this guy’s?
