Did you read the full article? He's not in a coma anymore, he was woken up. It's not uncommon for those with severe burn injuries to be placed in medically induced comas. It also doesn't "exclusively focus on her modeling career". It focused on how fucked up it was that a 21 year old woman was the intended target in an acid attack in London. She talks quite a bit about her cousin. The NY post is a garbage site anyways.

You are legally an adult at 18. In the state of Virginia, you cannot legally consent at the age of 14. There are reasons there are laws regarding age of consent.

It's based on evidence from the case. The police verified, based on evidence collected, that the girl was telling the truth. That's why there is a case.

Age has nothing to do with the discrimination that is happening here. It has everything to do with the case. He was 18 soliciting sexual photos and acts from a 14 year old girl. He was also 18 in a relationship with a girl who is not old enough to consent. Why are you defending this?

It's a little ridiculous, to be honest. I'm showing that there's clearly more to the story that the article OP linked doesn't show and getting downvoted to hell. The guy was 18 and trying to have sex with a 14 year old girl. That's when she stopped talking to him and told her parents, after which the police confirmed her story and arrested him. Why are people trying to defend that? source
