Remember, there's not such thing as "reverse racism," it's just racism. I thought "reverse racism" was giving preference to a certain race, like affirmative action.

FGM is not at all the same as circumcision. It is far worse. You can't equate the two at all.

That's a hypothetical. This is real. You can't just say "well it would've been different if it were the other way around, so you're wrong." You don't know what would have really happened so it's a meaningless argument. Would people be protesting if Hillary won but lost the popular vote? Who knows, probably. Would dems be protesting? Probably not but you don't know that because it didn't happen.

I'm talking down the electoral college, which is not full democracy. And people have been calling for the abolition of the EC since at least 2000 when Al Gore also won the popular vote. We're talking about two groups of people (democrats and republicans), one of which is much larger, but since the other is more spread out throughout the country, they are the ones represented by the new president while the democrats, who are the majority in this country, are not represented. That is bullshit.

Your country voted for him We didn't really vote for him though. He lost the popular vote by a margin greater than some former presidents' win margin. Most people hate him. He has no mandate. Plenty of people are protesting partly because the majority of voters didn't vote for him and his views aren't in line with most Americans. And he's already breaking promises left and right.

I'm not saying that it would have stopped the Nazis. Just that we shouldn't act like the protests are pointless. Would you rather the people in the women's march take up arms and depose Trump by force?
/r/MensRights25/01/17 10:35 PM

Yes, because violence is always a better way to solve problems than peaceful protesting.

It is. People here just like to get offended. How are we any better than SJWs on tumblr when we upvote shit like this to the front page? It's a non-issue.

Is this really what this sub has come to? Two similar or corresponding words don't have to be equivalent. It depends entirely on the use of the word, historical or otherwise. "Oriental" is considered derogatory not because of anything intrinsic to the word, but because of how it used to be used and how it's generally used today - in a condescending way. Similarly, "hubby" is probably used endearingly while wifey is probably mainly used condescendingly. Therefore, based on the different usual use…

Can someone explain to me why combat deaths and industrial accidents happening mostly to males is an equality thing? I mean, those positions are offered to both genders. Males tend to have them more than women. We aren't oppressed because those things happen.

For the last time, radical, misandrist feminists are despicable human beings. They are not feminists. No true feminist wants men to be beneath women because that's not what a feminist is. I'm not saying all feminists are like that, I'm saying that those people are not feminists. But I see I'm wasting my time.
/r/MensRights12/12/13 08:27 PM

Hell of a generalization, there. Feminism, REAL feminism (while somewhat rare) is a good thing. So to say that you hate feminists when the ones that you hate aren't even real feminists is kind of ridiculous.

You need to realize there's a distinction here. Not all feminists are misandrists, just the bad ones. You could argue that they're the majority, but I won't bother. REAL feminists don't want superiority, they want equality. And I say this as an MRA.
