| 1 | Life Rant (venting)Of course, man. I’ve been reading “Way Of The Peaceful Warrior” and I definitely recommend. Best of luck to you. Just know you’re not alone in this and that many have faced similar issues. It’s tough being a man sometimes but we gotta put our heads up and just keep pushing. One day at a time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/11/24 04:55 AM |
| 2 | Life Rant (venting)Been there and unfortunately, it just gets harder to connect with new people as we age. The thing that has worked the best for me is joining a jiu jitsu gym (I started in my mid-30s.. been doing it every since), and like others suggested, join a book club or any social activity that gets you out of the house. It is not easy but things will get better, but you gotta keep working on it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/11/24 02:10 PM |
| 1 | Ex is Pushing to End It, I Feel TrappedThanks. I’ll check Claude.ai. I’ve consulted with attorneys already, but they seem a bit dismissive. Maybe I’m overthinking it and should just apply for a regular divorce, but I know this would infuriate my ex and she’d probably make things difficult just to get a piece of my stuff. It just feels like there’s not a fair solution to men in this. The fact she hasn’t worked in years (simply because she doesn’t want to) will probably work on her favor. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/11/24 01:59 PM |
