I was the breadwinner in my family, he got fired from job after job. I pay him child support, he got part of my retirement, I pay for all insurances on the kids. He tried to paint me as a deadbeat and continuously trashes me to the kids. I feel like more of the “man” or how men have been treated by the court system. I’m working 3 jobs, he barely has one and him and his wife are being supported by me and her ex. They make it a sport of taking me back to court. I just resonate a bit more here than…

That’s complete and utter bullshit. It sucks in this day and age that somehow lifetime alimony is ok.

Thanks for the insight, I find it wild that it differs from state to state so much. Daycare is expensive and summer camp even more so.

Interesting, I’m in NJ so I think we mirror Utah.

This, I don’t know of many states that aren’t like this. Child support and childcare are 2 separate costs, usually only split evenly when custody is even. It sounds like she has the majority of custody and if she takes you to court for it you may have to pay a hell of a lot more, daycare is expensive, 100 bucks or 87 bucks a month is pretty friggin cheap. My weekly costs were more than that. Check the laws/calculators in your state to see how it is.

These are normal feelings certainly and I can understand them as my ex did the same thing. You are worthy. Keep your head up.

I say that, not in a proud boastful way but in shame. He was abusive, physically, emotionally and mentally. I still feel to this day, even now when he disparages me, I deserve it. He cheated on me multiple times, he is now married to his last ap he cheated on me with. I think I deserve it bc I married him knowing I wasn’t in love with him. I came to have love for him after the children but it was more out of my love for my children. No one deserves that, no one. I knew he loved me and I married …

Previous poster is 100% correct. You really really don’t want children with someone like that. Imagine putting up with manipulative shit for the rest of your life! It’s not just 18 years. Choose very wisely in regards to who you have children with.

That won’t solve anything. Call the irs or the ssa even if the offices are closed the call centers are open plus you can probably call your states tax office as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
