Few men could find the equivalent woman to the hooker charging €1,000 to marry. Paid sex with average working women is more in the range of $100-200 (much cheaper in some places). Paying for the entire night is silly. With that more reasonable take, a man can satisfy his sexual needs in the range of $5,000 - $10,000 (maybe $20k at a stretch) a year. At that price point, we can have a real discussion about whether to pay for the whole cow or buy 1gal jugs of milk when the urge arises. Because all…

Most women's ideal fantasy man is an amalgam of at least 2 different men: the stereotypical "bad boy" who is fun, exciting and gets her hot; and the stable, responsible guy who makes money and will give her a good living. These 2 are almost impossible to find in one package. And they typically only choose #2 when #1 doesn't get his act together, or if they need the financial support. You were #2 guy, the pet wallet.

I remember seeing an article about FBI data (wish I could find it now), where in the cases of DV they tracked, 71% of the time the woman instigated it. That is, she hit him first. He retaliates, and of course his blows are more damaging, so he'll get in trouble. I've seen enough situations where 2 equally awful people are together, where the man gets blamed just because he's physically stronger. If she would have been, he'd have caught some lefts and rights to the jaw.

no sense of loyalty You're asking for a world of pain if you expect women to be "loyal" in the same way us as men, or even our dogs are loyal. It's just not in their genetic makeup. Having unmet expectation is where disappointment lies. If you don't expect it in the first place? You're probably in a much better place.

This is a great point. Sadly, society falls apart when men aren't sacrificing in some way. It's our cross to bear.

I think the only way men learn in this space is through experience. If you were to try to warn men about what women are capable of, the first thing they'll say is "Not my wife/gf". I was one of those guys years ago. I had to live a lot of the nonsense and go through a lot of pain to wake up.

I have unsubbed to a lot of subs due to the election... and I'm not even American. I was unbelievably smug when Trump won and how convincing it was. Everywhere had been an echo chamber and it was insufferable.

I couldn't, I'm sorry. This sounds absolutely terrible. In numerous surveys/studies, even women have reported that they don't like female supervisors at work.

Everybody's out there selling it now. Price has fallen like a rock.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
