People with large families are often less intelligent, The complexity of a person's environment during their life has a huge impact on their intelligence. For that reason i suspect that people with large families have some advantages due to their constant social interactions with siblings. Only children might have an advantage if they spent a lot of time with their parents (either of them) AND their parents were fairly intelligent. It varies quite a bit.
