I’ve heard through the grape wine that beauty pageants, Ford model contests and the like are a “selection process” for rich men. High escort type thing. Donald trump used to (is??) be a heavy beauty pageant sponsor. We know what he did in the 80s. Arab sheiks buy and sleep with the winner/runner ups of Ford models contest.

Thanks. I did not know that but that also makes pornhubs move more calculated and obvious that it’s all a strategy.

If we are talking signals…then I interpret yellow/orange flags as mixed signals which makes it a red flag. Like if you notice something about his energy and it’s not THAT bad (rationalization) then you deal w it as a red flag.

This was a beautiful read. I love the Bible references. Edit: just add. I know studies have shown religious men cheat less than non religious. Ana psychologist on YouTube said the same thing and it hasn’t so much to do with religion but with a specific set of morals one decides to pursue. So bibel aside and on to your topic, I think a man with a strong moral compass is important to look out for. And I think men this age have lost it. What has replaced the moral compass in men that the big religi…

“Your type” is mentioned in the book “come as you are”. It basically boils down to anxiety. Read the book and get a therapist are my recommendations.

I noticed he cut off you guys abruptly as soon as the discussion mentioned terfs and trans issues. Crazy that’s it’s so dangerous to talk about certain issues.

This is gold. Like you really really nailed this. This is some IT stuff. I really like how you highlight his good looks and how you really liked the attention and felt attracted to him. It was the same for me. So a guy I dated did almost to a T the exact same thing. The fade was so brutal, I clutched to long on. I’m talking I was the only one who asked questions for months when we texted.it felt like everything was reversed in the end. I was chasing him as he was pulling away. I only have one th…

It’s not entitlement. It’s a very calculated tactic. He is using an authoritative voice to make the victim open the door.

I kind of disagree. The mean girls who bullied were always some of the popular pretty girls because they could get away with it.

Can anyone explain the low effort posts rule? If I comment on a thread with “yes queen” I get banned? Or do y’all mean not to share simple tiktok videos??? I’m just confused.

This is why lib fem is a scam. Listen to these 3rd world women who actually have to live in places were polygamy is practiced and deal with the consequences. I bet all of them hate it and would wish a different life for themselves.

Don't' be so hard on yourself, you did what you thought was best at the time. It scary being older with kids, leaving someone and being all alone or also scary deciding to divorce and not knowing what is going to happen. Your fear wasn't without reason. I've done some shitty decisions myself and all I can say is be kind to yourself.

0:22 the guy kick his leg up to hit the girls head. This reminds me so much being bullied at school by a group of guys. Like imagine being one girl (not even having a group of friends, I was bullied) and dealing daily with groups of boys like this. They intimidated me just as the girl at 0:22 did as I was trying to get away.

This. I see in the comment section the physical punishments highlighted like STDs, unwanted pregnancy, abortion BUT imo the emotional ones should be highlighted too. The feeling of being used for sex and dumped, falling for a fake persona and realizing it after sex, getting a bad reputation, knowing all his friends know the most intimate details about you in bed, people that don’t like you and are glad for bad things happening to you know intimate stuff you don’t want them to know, pictures that…

Going with your gut is where it's at. It's a super important point in the book "why does he do that". If YOU feel like it's threatening then it is.

You are more right than you think. In the book "the gift of fear" the author talks about pre-incident behaviors. This is what you are talking about. Small behaviors that indicate BEFORE the actual violence what is to come. here is a link from FDS about this topic. VERY IMPORTANT https://www.reddit.com/r/FemaleDatingStrategy/comments/ezw4qz/preincident_indicators_of_violence_from_gavin_de/

If you feel threatened by it This OP. Listen to this. If YOU (!!!!) feel like it is a threat then it is. This is one of the important highlights in Lundy Bancrofts book "why does he do that" when asked ( paraphrasing) how would you determine if a guy is going to be violent to you. He basically says that no one, not the cops, not the social service lady, not even him the author would be as a accurate as THE WOMANS OWN INTUITION. trust your gut. If YOU feel like it's violent then it is. Period.

Lundy Bancroft from the book “why does he do that” talks about this. Interesting how 2 people (op and you) have noted this without referencing his book.

Can anyone explain this to me. I went on a date first date with my abusive ex and he drive us to this four star restaurant to eat. He picked me up and payed for the dinner. But in the middle of the dinner he asked if I could excuse him, he had to give a guy a package from his car. And I was like wtf, what package, drugs? So after the date I didn’t want to see him. When he explained himself I gave him another chance. So stupid. But a guy bought a a small auto part from him and he decided to meet …

Please listen to me. False promises that are “off”. It’s in the book the gift of fear as a pre-indicator of violence to come. I live in a VERY safe European country. After my first date with my ex he sent me a text saying he dreamt about monsters and that he will always protect me. I thought ok. But I was never in danger when we dated. Nothing happened that made me need him to promise to protect me. WELL he tried showing me down a river couple months later a cold winter night.among other things.

I wish I could agree but my very abusive ex had a decent group of friends and he was scary abusive once the mask was off. The red flag was that they seemed all “red pill”. Eg his best friends told me when I first met him “ I like young girls” and his wife told him infront of me before going out “ don’t make me jealous this time” to the same guy.

THIS. omg Scarface. My very abusive ex loved that movie. And he generally didn’t watch any movies. In fact the first time he met me he said a line to me that the main character says to Elvira.

Omg You know what this reminds me of? Long time ago there was all time post on Reddit. A guy strangled his girlfriend. She was completely naked and he took pictures and posted it on reddit saying that “it was harder than I thought”. He left her on the bed, dead and all, for her son that was coming home from school to find her. Never made the connection until this post about how dangerous men are that use strangulation. She was naked in bed when he strangled her so I wonder if they were having se…

The whole, "helping people who can't have children themselves", is a myth on par with, "the happy prostitute". can you explain this last sentence. I don't get it. If the parents can have kids themselves why do they go for a surrogate?

I started a law of attraction pinboard in my home. I want to develop good habits and first one was clean everyday for 10 min which I've done well. This month I'm starting with tracking my calories intake to loose weight. Slow and steady baby.

Was also looking at this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMen/comments/bbi0fy/what_is_something_women_think_men_find_hot_but/ This comment was awarded gold 19 times.
