You did nothing wrong. The guy sounds like a real jerk. You’re not going to be in the mood all the time, specifically after being lied to. He should have respected that.

I don’t think most men’s goals are to have sex with as many women as possible.. maybe that’s the goal of a 15 year old boy but a grown man? I think there’s bigger issues if that’s someone’s main goal

Oh yes that is sad. I thought you meant she married him hoping to change him. Nobody should have to be in arranged marriages in the 21 century

Yes I understand what you’re saying as well. Did he have problems before they got married and she chose to marry him anyways hoping she could change him?

If you’re cheated on the person did something bad to you and you’re no longer obligated to be with them. They broke their vows. If they did nothing wrong and you’re unhappy, that’s on you. You make a vow, for better or for worse. I take marriage seriously. If it’s all about happiness, you won’t be happy forever so there’s no point in ever getting married

I think if there’s cheating or abuse you should leave. But if you just fell out of love or don’t feel happy it’s wrong. Marriage isn’t all rainbow and sunshine. Nothing is. Especially if you have kids, it’s not worth breaking your family up and giving your kids trauma that will impact their whole lives. If the reason is I’m just not happy/in love, the couple should work on things, not divorce.

Gotcha. I don’t think it is fake or makes you any less! I get my nails done too and get highlights in hair. I think it is just a fun way to enhance our beauty, not much different from makeup. None of it is permanent and as long as you don’t feel like you have to do these things to be seen in public, i think you’re fine!

I’ve changed nothing but he’s never asked me to change anything.. i think if he did I’d feel icky

I’d ask if he still wants that or had changed his views. If you’re in this group i assume you don’t want that. So make sure you’re on the same page!

I read acotar and love it. I think it has a lot to do with the stuff that doesn’t exist in the real world that we enjoy, adventures, flying, teleporting, etc. it’s cool. Also Rhys is no bad guy, he saves the main girl from the bad guy. He’s like a Disney prince lol

I guess I’m learning a lot because I’ve always been told anything under 120 is not healthy for 5’5. Glad it’s healthy for you guys though! I was considered under weigh and put on fluid IVs at that point & told if i lose anymore i would need a feeding tube. I guess it is different for everybody then and would advise OP not to lose more than a few pounds without talking to doctors first then. Wish i could be like you ladies lol

Well I’m glad it works for you but from my experience my doctor said i need to be at least 120 for my health!

5’5 adult woman should not weigh 50kg unless their cutting to be a model or a fitness competitor and it is only for a short time. I don’t believe this is a healthy weight for a 34 your old woman to achieve. Maybe tell your husband to look up what’s healthy/ ask his doctor. Because he has unhealthy standards for you. I am the same heigh as you and 22. Last year i had a lot of medical problems, when i got down to 107 i was in the hospital because my heart rate was too heigh, i could hardly take a …

I agree with this as long as you don’t mean like super rich. Not possible for everyone to be mega rich. But it is possible for everyone to make enough to support their family

Thank you for sharing, we sound very similar! I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years, since i was 17 and I also want to be a stahm! He just got his first legit career job. I only ask about money because we probably have about $60,000 saved combined and the cost of a wedding, house/apartment, groceries, other expenses etc. Everything just seems way more expensive now than it did when my parents got married. Buying a house or renting an apartment seems like a hard thing to do today, especially …

Thank you for this! I am 22. My mom was 21, dad 25. when they got married and both sets of my grandparents were in young 20s too. All happy forever marriages. However, my boyfriends parents were young 20s and got divorced, so our parents have different views on what’s better! I know it’s not best to only look at your family’s experience because its only a few people so that’s why I am curious of other people’s opinions! 🫶🏻

I think it depends on the individual. Some people love to do stuff, hate staying at home, etc. i think they should work if that makes them happy. Other people love to be at home, live a more slow and relaxed life, take care of family, etc. some like something in between. Personally, I would rather stay home, but i think it all depends on each individual!

If you’re a Christian, look for men in church, not college. If that doesn’t work, try dating men a little older than you. Mid to upper twenties, they probably want more serious relationships!

I think the behavior wise one is great and we can all strive for those qualities. I definitely need to work on talking over other people. Sometimes I get so excited over something that I just start talking without realizing. However, appearance wise, many men dislike bold eyeshadow, eye liner, false eyelashes, tube tops/crop tops and tight hugging dresses! I definitely wear some of these but it’s not all liked by all men!

I just think he is smart and explains his standpoints well when it comes to politics. He doesn’t waver his stance to get more people to like him and says what he truly feels!

I thought it was fun and entertaining. Also in the end, the Barbie’s and Ken’s agreed that neither group should be in full control, Ken’s were going to start taking on bigger roles in society and people were going to be more equal. Even so, Barbie decided Barbie world wasn’t this amazing utopia that she once thought, and decided to live in the real world. I also really liked how Ken needed to find what he wanted to do and learn to have more self love before he settled down. A lot of woman put th…

There’s lots of things you can do for dates! Dinner or other meals, go to the movies, mini golf, bowling, any sport you both like, hiking, go to the mall, get coffee/tea, concert/event, beach, fair, etc. my boyfriend usually pays for our dates as he makes a lot more money than me. But i do sometimes too. If i specifically want to do a certain thing, like see a certain movie, i will ask him to come with me and I’ll pay for it!

Look for men in your church, not out at bars. They’re there, just only in certain places!!

It is much harder in our generation as everything is more expensive too. My mom got engaged at 19 and married at 21. I’m 22 and have a boyfriend but those things aren’t possible for us yet because everything is so expensive. Apartment/house, wedding expenses etc. I hate it!!

Do go out to dinner/friends house or don’t go out to bar/club? Maybe he doesn’t want you around drunk guys who will try to take advantage of you? But if you are just with your friends there should be no problem..

I don’t blame the men for doing it, it’s sad that they feel that they have too though and cannot find any marriageable women here!

No problem! I hope things work out for you. I have always wanted to get married too and hate being this age awkward age where we’re adults in age but kind of like broke teens because we can’t afford to start our own lives yet. 😅 I’ll tell you one other thing from my experience. Now that my boyfriend and I are both working and we don’t see each other as much, long days, tired etc. we always say “ugh, i wish we were married already. I hate having to go home and not see you, i wish i could come hom…

Whatever you do, don’t move in with him until married, or at least engaged. Then he’ll have everything a marriage is without actually having to marry you and there will be no incentive. My boyfriend and I are the same age as you two. He plans to propose next year and we will get married the following you. He just started working in a high paying job, in his career, making good money etc. Once your boyfriend starts making good enough money to afford to move out on his own and pay for everything, …
