Well written. When you introduced Tom and Mike, I realized I was sucked into the FR as if I was reading a novel.

I don't know what you mean. In my opinion, Turkish girls are often attractive. Armenian girls as well.

Sorry, cannot comment on going solo in bars; I've only done that in clubs so far.

Congrats! you have the liberty of doing whatever the hell you want, when you want to I've gone solo to clubs recently because my friends often flake when I tell they should join me (or, they don't like the music as much as I do). Now I sometimes feel restricted when I go out with friends. Most of them stick together, and I may get funny looks for talking to strangers. I think I would have tried to join the group of girls with the guys you met. Then, create mixed teams and have fun with them. You…

The example with the hot girl is exactly what I wanted to say. You need to work on your confidence, bro. Don't you think it is weird how the prettiest girls sometimes have body image issues? They may have a small mole on their left boob, or they don't like the shape of their nipples... whatever. You might be that pretty girl handsome guy, you see? Sometimes there is a huge difference between how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us. Funny how that determines our life, and our capabil…

I did this for much, much longer. We're about the same age, actually. And I also stayed out of the game for much longer than those 2-3 years. But 2-3 years because I decided so, and the rest because of incompetence. Ditto the "cultural corner" thing. I had this problem as well, maybe less extreme. I was always amazed how some of my friends could hold a conversation with everyone and seem really interested and enthusiastic, while I would constantly judge people and be turned off as soon as they s…

I don't get it, either. pre-emptively? Is it possible that you meant prematurely?

Difficult to answer. But I remember when I was younger (high school), and a girl broke my heart, I would hide in my bed and drown in self-pity. Later, there was a time, where I was so frustrated about my inability to get girls that I said to myself "Fuck it. I refuse to play this stupid boy/girl game." And I stayed out of the game completely for probably 2-3 years. Don't let this happen to you. And actually, I was not seeing it as my own inability back then. More likely I externalized it and sai…

These are not first world problems. Quite the opposite, actually. There are people all over the world who struggle with anxiety or low self-esteem. Also in Bangladesh or Ethiopia. But I agree with your first paragraph. The problem here is low frustration tolerance. Advice on how one can: overcome the emotional baggage of previous failures and wrong mindset --> build up self-esteem, and --> start accepting failure again as normal part of the process has been posted here over and over. Maybe Kurt …

Yeah, it's really cheap. I have had mine for three years now. The chrome starts to wear off at the edges, so I was planning to get a new one. It is so cheap, you can buy a new one regularly ;) Had a similar one as a kid (end of the 80s, I think), so I bought this one also because of nostalgia.

Girls have complimented my watch quite often. It's a Casio 1572. Cheap but timeless; you will recognize it when you see it. Many people have it. In fact, many girls have it. They always go like "you have a nice watch," and then they show they got the same (or a small, girly replica). Btw, this post was not brought to you by Casio.

I know what you are talking about. I have cockblocked myself in the past several times. And the worst thing is, I did not even realize it immediately afterwards. The good thing about the seduction community is that it has encouraged me to write things down and think about them. What was good, what didn't work? Thus, learning from mistakes.

Interesting. Set 1: I had a similar problem recently. Met a girl I know on the street, she was with a friend. The first girl always smiles at me and she seems to enjoy talking with me. Her friend, however, gave me really cold vibes. It caught me off guard, and after some awkward pauses I was like, see you around. Later on, I was angry about myself because the second girl's I-hate-you-looks drove me off. I need to keep my calm and learn how to deal with that. Set 2: Let me guess about that 'hippi…

Enjoyed reading your report. Although, you have some weird autocorrect (?) typos in there (cane vs. call, he vs. she, ...). Well, I'm just saying, since you were asking for constructive feedback.

Computer-related skills can bring value. Let me tell you a story: My brother was preparing for his medical degree and he and his (mostly female) study group had a software to help them drill/study all the official questions of previous years. For some reason, the software needed outbound web-access, which was provided in their library via a very flaky VPN connection. Every time the VPN link collapsed, they had to restart everything. Without going into further details, I h4x0red that thing and ma…

As for body language, a good book is the one by Allan and Barbara Pease "The definitive book of body language". Someone also put it online, probably w/o permission. So you can either buy the paperback or read the link. Another one would be the book by Joe Navarro but I have read in reviews that there is almost no focus on flirting/dating in it. Also, you are quite young. I wish I had come to the realization that I need to change some aspects of myself when I was 18. I have lived a romantically/s…

Unfortunately, he didn't ... as is revealed by a reddit search for "escalation anxiety". But yes, as the term is pretty congruent with existing terminology, it should be used more often. EA is really a thing. All of a sudden you become way too nervous, which leads to self-consciousness, and then you lose it and screw up. A few years ago, I was so damn shy, even when a girl approached me and started dancing and touching me, I would be scared and bail out. So she got over AA, but still I was stuck…

Since you listed Muay Thai and BJJ, I was wondering: what was the reason you only tried and then (I assume) quit? I am asking because I am considering to start Kickboxing/BJJ.

What does SR mean? Its not in the side bar, and the definitions at urbandictionary.com don't make sense in this context?

Second that. What you can read quite often here is: * initiate/schedule first 'date' * if she's busy, reschedule some time (few days) later * if she's busy again, it is up to her: tell her she can call/text you when she is free to meet. You back off and give her space. At that point, it is likely she is not interested.

I, too, was wondering what exactly it is about eye contact since I started reading seddit. Did a reddit search for "eye contact" a while ago, and one guy did an interesting experiment Basically, the experiment confirms what you are saying.

My feeling is that by writing things down, even depressing thoughts, they are actually being processed. Instead of simply drowning in self-pity, when you write something down, you may feel compelled to express yourself clearly, which may lead to clarity and a better understanding of your problems (the whys, whens, and hows, not just: 'oh i am so depressed'). Also, try to write down possible solutions to your problem. Again, writing it down may make you feel obliged to actually work on it. Second…

Sounds like a relaxed morning. You were probably joking but seriously, I also write about what food I eat/cook/prepare. Of course if it is special to me. Not, if it is just routine (like, if all your mornings come with 10 slices of bacon). For example, a few weeks ago I was at a friend's party and his girlfriend made salad with fried gnocchi, pine nuts, dried tomatos, rocket salad, plus some other stuff ... which was delicious. I also wrote about that and prepared it at home two weeks later. Als…

Keep a diary. I started doing this, and believe me, for many years I thought that my life was boring, and that nothing happened. When you write down a few sentences each day, you will see that life is interesting. I write about things I do but more importantly, about people I've met. Even if it was just a short conversation. Anything that's memorable, even interesting quotes from reddit ;) You also realize more about yourself.

I think your observation that barely anybody has game is right. I have just started looking into PU concepts, and when going out, I am always interested in what others are doing, and I do not see much happening. This got me thinking ... even the slightest amount of game should be a big advantage here. Very much interested in more info on the German perspective. Please share if you remember anything else!
