True, we can all only control ourselves. Luckily it is a choice we can make for ourselves in who we date and what is acceptable treatment from a man.

Want them maybe. But they don't "need" them.

If you have to constantly stifle your opinions and ideas you're going to build up a lot of resentment towards him over time. Everyone needs to feel like they matter to the people they love.

Why do I need a commitment to companionship and protection? I can provide for myself, carry a gun, have friends, family, get sex anytime I want it, travel, create, learn, have hobbies and generally take care of myself and spend my energy making my life great. I have zero need to trade my body for any of those things.

Why do you worry so much? I am surprised to see all these women so worried that things are wrong. Do you lack confidence in yourself or your man? Just curious. I honestly dont get like this because I trust my man and know that he loves me because he treats me so well and we are so close on every level.

I agree. Manipulating someone with "dread" is not cool for men or women to do. Also, the idea of treating your man amazingly is great too. I wish this article mentioned how men should be wonderful to their women as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
