Whenever I'm out with my gf, without fail some idiot will come up to her and offer to buy her a drink. She accepts and immediately turns around and gives it to me. The look on the guy's face is always priceless.

If you have not already, check out Killing Patton. Excellent book. I read it in 2 days on vacation, I couldn't put it down.

I usually have my LTR flirt with thirsty guys and when they buy her a drink, she immediately turns around and hands it to me. Then I flash the guys a shit eating grin and say thank you.

Bill Burr said in a stand up routine, "Men get paid more because if the ship is going down, for some reason we have to stay behind while you get to leave" (paraphrasing)

That's very interesting, is this your own theory? I am the oldest son and subconsciously I guess I have always believed that it is my responsibility to lead my siblings and make sure that my families reputation is not tarnished.

Read How to Win Friends and Influence People. A main tenet of the book is that option B is the absolute best way to make people like and respect you.

How would they make that distinction between a "roommate" and a "girlfriend"?

Exactly, I take it as a compliment when other guys hit on her. She knows that if she ever breaks my trust then it's on to the next one haha.

Whenever I'm out with my girlfriend and a random guy chats her up, I act like I don't know her. Within 5 minutes the guy will buy her a drink and she will immediately turn around and give it to me. I always look the guy in the eye as I take the first sip. Ultimate alpha move.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
