Then I would suspect our definitions of great fathers do not line up. That being said, I never said it was fool proof.

In my experience, one of the easiest ways to vet women is to observe their relationship with their dad. Daddy issues are real.

Great FR, I really need to finish that book. I had a chance to use broken record a few months back when returning something to Costco. Normally Costco is great for returning stuff, but they claimed my item wasn't actually from their store(I'm 100% sure it was). I must have repeated "No, I bought this here" over a dozen times without saying much of anything else and it worked.

That's an incredible testimony, thanks for sharing. So many times I've prayed that God would somehow use a tragedy or struggle in someone's life without really considering what that would look like or, if I'm being truly honest with myself, not even believing that anything positive would actually come out of it.

That is amazing! I'd love to hear more about that if you are comfortable sharing.

I feel for you, I've been in similar situations before. The first was in between high school and meeting my future wife. My HS friends had all moved on to other things and my mission in life at that time was to just find a friend and/or a wife. It lead to some neediness in myself which I cringe at looking back now. I really wish I would have used that time to just work on myself instead of making companionship my sole focus. The other time was more recent, after being red pilled. I've never had …

Like others have said, you're angry and emotional. The more emotional you are, the less rational you are. When it comes to any kind of financial decision, you want to be as rational as possible.

Can anyone fill me in on what's wrong with his book? I've never read it or read about it.

I've seen variations of that quote attributed to so many different people before, who knows who actually said it.

Throughout Old Testament history baptism was a way to identify with something. Gentile converts were being baptized well before John the Baptist showed up. Those baptized by John were identifying with his ministry, that he was the forerunner of Christ. That's why in Acts 19 Paul baptized those again who had already been baptized by John. They had identified with John's ministry but not Jesus' since they hadn't heard the gospel yet.

Meeting a girl's father and seeing the relationship between the two of them is one of the absolute best ways to vet her.

You're not wrong, but I think there will always be enough simps out there for these women to fall back on.

There's a lot more depth to this than you probably realize. Biologically, humans, along with all mammals, are programmed to become sexually satiated with a sex partner and seek after novel mates(this is a main reason that porn is so appealing). The purpose of this is to have more genetic diversity in offspring. This works great for animals, but obviously not for humans because it's in the offspring's best interests to be raised by both parents. But to answer your question as to why God designed …

One definition I've heard for wisdom is that it is the correct application of knowledge. Anyways, great post. Speaking less and listening more is one thing I have struggled with for a long time.

Have you prayfully asked God to bring high quality men into your life? About a year ago I was in a similar situation, all of my guy friends were varying degrees of betas and even with me trying to influence them for the best, I saw no change. Sure they would often agree when I described red pill concepts, especially when they were rooted in scripture, but they would not live it out. So I accepted that I was going to be a loner as far as my beliefs were concerned. But I still prayed about it aski…

Look into the two books I mentioned, although if you don't like reading much, just get 4 Hour Body. (although you could probably find the workout posted somewhere online for free, it's still worth reading the chapter on it in order to understand how something so basic is so effective) It takes me about 10 minutes of gym time and there's 4-5 rest days between workouts.

If you've always wanted the physique of a t-rex, give stronglifts 5x5 a try. Seriously though, I don't know why that program is so popular here. I did it for over a year, saw solid strength and size gains in my legs but upper body really lagged behind because of how unbalanced the program is. There's a reason why it's so unpopular on other fitness subs. Try Occam's Protocol from the book 4 Hour Body. It's better results with waaay less gym time than stronglifts. And if you can find the book Body…

In regards to your second point, are you suggesting that the original be fruitful and multiply command in Genesis no longer applies?

I personally avoid orgasm and ejaculation altogether. Sex completely changes when it is not goal oriented where you are chasing orgasm the whole time. In fact when I do inadvertently have an orgasm it is actually quite disappointing compared to the love making itself. Another main reason that I abstain from orgasm is due to something called the passion cycle. The idea behind it is that after orgasm, dopamine levels spike and then crash, bouncing around below the normal level for about 2 weeks. T…

This is something I've been into for awhile as a married man. I can confirm that sex and orgasm are seperable and boy oh boy are things better when they are. Think about it this way: When you have sex and abstain from orgasm, you never really stop having sex. Biologically, it's never actually done. You just take a break until the next night. Through practicing sex like this the love in my marriage has increased tremendously. It trully is like being in a perpetual honeymoon. My wife and I ogle an…

Being one flesh doesn't mean my wife and I micromanage each other's lives, we are still two different people. Why would I lie if my wife asked me about something I wasn't at liberty to discuss? I don't think you understand the concept of secret.

That worked in the past but I don't think it would now. There are plenty of wealthy people who contribute to society who don't own property. Instead I would make it that you have to pay a certain level of income tax before being able to vote. However I think only property owners should be able to vote in municipal elections since municipal government is usually funded through property taxes. I totally agree with your overall point though.

You know those people who go from bad relationship to bad relationship and always keep getting burned? That's you in regards to the churches you are attending. You grew up in a legalistic baptist cult, then went to a different cult(SDA). Then started going to a church preaching the prosperity Gospel. It's easy to give up on church when you are going to churches like these that twist and distort God's word. That being said, it is getting incredibly difficult to find a good church where the Bible …

I've learned enough to never bother giving diet advice. Simply put, find what works for you. Like OP, low carb high fat makes me feel like an unstoppable machine. If the opposite works for you, just stick with it. Just experiment and find what works for you.

I have found this to be very true in my own life. In the past I had a rock solid morning routine, but then my wife and I had a baby and it went out the window(the routine, not the baby.) I'm slowly trying to get back into it but this post is right, I just need to commit to something. I have found lifting in the morning helps immensely.

Your job is to protect your family. Your MIL is seriously harming your family. In the short term, you need to do whatever it takes to replace her for the next three weeks. You or your wife are the best options for the well being of your child. In the long term, I would keep that psycho far from your family. Like I said, she is harming the ones that you are supposed to protect.
/r/RPChristians

The specific secret in this case isn't actually her secret, its her sister's. If it was concerning drama in your wife's life directly, then it would be her secret and you would be justified to want to know. In this case, I would say unless your wife is somehow drawn into the family drama, then it isn't your business, especially since it is between sisters. There are very personal secrets that people have confided in me that I would never tell my wife. They confided in me, not her.
