The #1 thing for me is just manual labor and the workplace death gap. Feminists can never defend their stance on it or do anything about it, they only advocate for female c-suite execs, not lateral movement equality in the workforce.

" is the advice you give them dependent on their gender?" Is it supposed to be different? I don't even understand the overall question here.

I recently realized casual sex is actually not very good for men. 1 - Unwanted pregnancies and child support 2 - Diseases Even with the body count thing, it's not necessarily high body count that women like in men as proof they are desirable men, but just general desirability/attention from other women.

Therapy can work sometimes Like I said, I never said all men. Sometimes anti-depressants can work for some men. It is not a zero-sum game. Feminists always tend to think helping men actually makes them worse or takes away from women. "Just suck it up and deal with it" is actually ok for the most part because men use it in the context of the daily grind, NOT for huge life changing stuff. Men do not kill themselves for normal daily stresses, its usually because they are deeply messed up or they …

Therapy can work sometimes, but not all the time. But in general, men need purpose and lifestyle change. I don't need to simply "say how I feel" about something, I need to actually do something. When I joined the army it was such a huge lifestyle change that it ripped me out of comfort zone and depression. If there are young men that are wasting a way playing video games and smoking weed all day, they need a boot in their ass to get up off the couch. But this is never what feminists suggest, the…

Stop gaslighting men into saying everything is our fault. Stop with non-stop negative un-constructive criticism and actually listen to men to have empathy. Start with more positive reinforcement for good men. I have never once heard a feminist say "be more like this guy" and point to a good man. 1 - Therapy is designed for women's depression, not men's. Stop weaponizing "just go to therapy" as it is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I joined the army at 20 and it was the best thing I ever did af…

This is my #1 issue with feminism. They just want the safe powerful high-paying jobs and nothing else. I would completely welcome women into construction but they just don't even want to. There is no big mainstream push for women into the trades.

Women will soon have full "equality" in the workplace since they are already dominating education. When this happens, both men and women will have 50/50 leadership positions on boards and everything but not for manual labor. Manual labor will still be looked down upon and it will still be primarily men working as plumbers and dying in war.

I very much loooove stuff like this. It's like they are running around with their heads cut off pretending like they have no idea when more men are not progressive after constant bashing. That is what non-stop negativity does to people... it turns them off, but they can't admit that.

I realized I am like partially MGTOW. I am MGTOW when it comes to progressive women, unlike back in highschool (like 2010) I would date them. But, I would still date "normal" women today and I would judge based on their appearance. However, I would still be super careful since almost any "approach" will be viewed as harrassment. I don't care at all for the passport bro thing because it seems like wayyy to much effort.

God forbid a man have dating preferences. It's all semantics. "boundaries, rules, preferences".. Does it matter what it's called? He said "this is what I want, so maybe we should break up"... That is a very normal reason to break up.

Probably because he realized what he wanted for the long term is different then what he liked in the short term. He also laid out it for her, so no not controlling. It's always "control" when a man has preferences but when a women does this it's "a woman who knows what she wants"... Misadnry.

I work for AWS in Texas, but yeah my entire team (Support) is like 85% Indian and I am pretty sure the Amazon HR just look at it as "diversity" so it checks the box to have non-white guys working so they let it slide.

So? Am I wrong? Trans men do not share the lived experiences as biological males. Eventually when they become passing they will experience it a little bit but no where near the full extent. Since trans men do not have the same struggles as biological males, are we really the same? I think men have mens issues, trans people have trans issues and women have women issues.

chivalry is inherently sexist So taking my girlfriend/wife out to some nice romantic dinner reservation is bad? Buying cute stuff for her on Valentines day is bad?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 07:08 PM
0

Valentines day is just a very easily noticeable example of how men are still expected to stay traditional when it comes to relationships. I won't pressure a girlfriend to buy me anything because then its a fake gift. I also can't pressure her for sex because of consent. So since men have always spent way more on Valentines day and still have that expectation, yeah men are still tied to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 01:20 AM
3

But me getting her body is a common occurrence. A special romantic dinner from me is unique.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 09:50 PM
7

Prove me wrong. Progressive women still call men cheapskate scumbags for not putting in any effort on Valentines day. Its a trad double standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 08:12 PM
3

It should be an exchange. But women still dont give gifts for Valentines day. Just look at advertising for Valentines day. It's all for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 07:05 PM
9

But specifically romantically. Progressive women still need cute gifts for some reason. Men dont get gifts on Valentines day, just look at how every thing is pink and girly in stores, there is never a "for him" section and if there is it's tiny.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 06:57 PM
14

Most progressive women still demand men financially perform. Especially Valentines day. There is no getting away from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 06:51 PM
27

Yes. This is how men are STILL bound to trad roles even though women are free. Just look at Valentines day. When men do not give, we get attacked for it. When women do not give anything, its fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 06:49 PM

Bubble? I am looking at data, and taking the accounts of multipleee men and their upvotes into consideration. Only very few progressive women will say "no but I take my guy out on valentines day".
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 03:13 PM

Men want women to do what? Women are socially expected to be however they want now. But men are still expected to take women out to dinner on Valentines day.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 02:22 PM

so MGTOW then? That's the only solution.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 02:18 PM

Most women still expect men to do traditionally romantic things.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 02:14 PM

Men could start insisting on sharing the bill, I cant see that going over very well.. This is still to this day. [[57 percent of women say they offer to help pay, 39 percent admitted that they hoped men would reject their offers, while 44 percent were bothered when men expected them to chip in]] https://www.huffpost.com/entry/men-paying-for-date\_n\_3749104
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 02:13 PM

"toxic masculinity" is just gas-lighting most of the time. Whenever women do anything bad/wrong/ or toxic themselves, they blame all men in general by saying its "internalized misogyny" or "toxic masculinity" or "patriarchy".
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/23 02:04 PM

in my social circle. It's only extremely progressive women that do any sort of romantic gift-giving to men. Men have always spent twice as much on Valentines day statistically. However, how do men change this? Do we force women to start paying??
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 01:57 PM

Men spend twice as much on Valentines day. "Women are wonderful effect" (Women can do no wrong). Men are still expected to give women gifts for Valentines day. Whenever women don't get anything from their boyfriends, he is looked at as a scumbag cheapskate and "doesn’t care about her". Whenever men don't receive anything on Valentines day… silence. From everyone. No one cares. Women also get priority in homelessness.

Dating is a very good example of how feminists still want men to continue their trad gender roles. I am still expected as a man to pursue women and ask take them out on dates because women don't pursue men and especially feminists. This is also means men will still have to pay for the dates because its "our" idea to go out on that date in the first place.
/r/MensRights19/04/23 05:19 AM

Beautiful. Misandry is invisible in society because men are expendable and women are wonderful. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women-are-wonderful\_effect#:\~:text=The%20women%2Dare%2Dwonderful%20effect,women%20as%20a%20general%20case
/r/MensRights19/04/23 01:58 AM
3

It's all opposite. Men are viewed as expendable. Wherever men are falling behind, it is never even discussed as a "gender" gap. Women get special dedicated homeless resources, men do not. The ENTIRE justice system is worse towards men but it is NEVER discussed in the framing of gender. Therapy is slanted towards women. Men need purpose, not just talking "how you do feel today".
/r/MensRights19/04/23 01:36 AM
12

Feminism has such a strong hold on the mainstream narrative it continues to make it taboo to care about men falling behind. Toxic masculinity and the patriarchy are given WAY to much credit to power. Both of those are not nearly as impactful as anyone thinks.

It's about consent and bodily autonomy. Baby boys have neither.
/r/MensRights18/04/23 01:11 AM

Circumcision is perfectly legal in the US. Feminists don't care. They only care about bodily autonomy and consent for women. They always have to change the topic of circumcision to FGM for some reason when both are entirely different (FGM ONLY effects female, circumcision ONLY effects males).
/r/MensRights17/04/23 07:46 PM

Sports are mainly masculine men. The Infantry and all combat jobs in the military(the actual warfighters) are overwhelmingly conservative. Gym bro guys are overwhelmingly conservative. Progressivism/feminism is publicly anti-masculine men.

Tate is very confident, he is outspoken and unfettering in his beliefs, pro kickboxer, business owner. Masculinity is completely fine but there is absolutely a war on masculinity, for example: 1 - Men in power are considered toxic because when men in power resulted in all wars, genocides, and it "upholds the patriarchy". 2 - Women are encouraged to be masculine and men are encouraged to be feminine , just looking how popular the topic of "redefining" gender roles is in current pop-culture. There are literally progressive articles talking about how "gym culture" is toxic and how men in power in general is upholding the patriarchy, masculinity is only encouraged for women and demonized in men.

But progressive/feminist men are never masculine or athletic.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 08:11 PM

Progressivism/feminism needs to understand this to bring on young men into their cause. All the demographics of progressive podcasts that talk about gender issues are not young men, which proves they are not even bothering trying to attract young men.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 08:10 PM
4

Give me ONE example of a good progressive male role model for young men... You can't.. Because young men do not look up to progressive men because they are not "cool" with (money, girls, cars). Progressives also shame men for being men,,, if you do not believe that then just look at the demographic data of liberal podcasts that talk about gender stuff, its NOT young men, which means young men are not interested in that stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 08:08 PM
-6

(hits gym, successful, masculine etc) Progressive/feminist men don't do these things, and its frowned upon in progressive circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 04:42 PM
1

hit the gym, masculine and success mindset This stuff is incompatible with progressivism/feminism though. The feminist advice to young men is "Don't do this because its toxic, Don't do that because its toxic, to be a man means just be yourself". Tate atleast has an answer for young men (gym, money, success).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 04:40 PM
-1

He is not a god, young men look up to him just because he is confident, makes money, has girls, nice cars. There is no progressive/feminist equivalent to look up to for young men. ... And the trafficking stuff is basically irrelevant because young men don't think he's awesome because of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 04:39 PM
2

Perfect explanation, that is my exact life situation and opinion on Tate as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 04:37 PM
13

The conservative approach is attractive to young men the same way Andrew Tate is attractive to young men. It has AN answer. You might not like what that answer is, but atleast it is a tangible plan of what men and women should do, instead of the progressive approach which is like "men and women just do whatever". You cannot tell a young person "just be yourself" because young people do NOT know that what they "are" yet, so that advice falls on deaf ears..
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/04/23 03:44 PM
2

If mothers are coerced into it, then why is there no feminist outrage? It is gender equality because circumcision only effects men in regards bodily autonomy. Feminists are passionate about bodily autonomy and consent but only for womens issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 09:21 PM
4

But the doctors would not be doing it unless the mother wanted it done. Is it forced anywhere? If so, where is the feminist outrage of women getting their sons mutiliated? .... There is no outrage because when men suffer it doesn't matter according to the mainstream feminist narrative.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 08:35 PM
6

So when mothers bring their baby boys to these doctors, it literally does not matter? lmao its always mens fault isn't it?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 08:26 PM
3

Why do so many MOTHERS want to mutilate their baby boys??? MRA's always encourage paternity tests because women cannot be trusted as proven.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 08:20 PM
3

other men are responsible Always blaming men, when it takes 2 to make babies, but the mother chooses to LIE about it. Why do mothers so often support circumcision and why does this issue have little to no visibility among feminists when they claim they support gender equality for all?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 08:15 PM
29

How do we call out other men in cases of paternity fraud? Women do this and lie about who the father is. Men do not force their hand. Women do this to get some new guy to care for their bastard children. Why do so many mothers support circumcision? It's basically mutilating boys and women do not care.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 07:58 PM
6

You think men live like kings right? Where is the bodily autonomy when it comes to circumcision? Why is paternity fraud legal and never taken seriously? Lying about who the father is to get the new boyfriend to care for the mothers bastard children.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 07:56 PM

Where are men more liberal though? If anything, men in other countries will be even more traditional.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 04:01 AM

well its already called MRA's. They advocate for all these things. Feminism is only considered more "cohesive" because god forbid anybody criticize feminists. They are protected by criticism because of the "women are wonderful" effect. So the "cohesive" group of "feminists" will also be looked at as cohesive, instead of MRA's because men are not allowed to complain, but women are.

This would be so much worse for women lmao. Why would they want to go where its MORE traditional (which is basically everywhere).
/r/MensRights10/04/23 04:29 PM

Trad roles for women are not bad for women. Women will not be dying in the workplace, or spending the rest of their lives in the office never seeing their families. Both men and women have pros and cons. Men do not have it better in "nicer" in trad roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 03:14 PM

That is exactly what it is, feminists keep saying trad roles are oppressive towards women, as if men are living like kings with no issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 02:36 PM

It was exactly your point. You said that me being a man, I wouldn't want trad roles reversed. That's because you were implying that men have it better.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/23 11:44 PM

Just because of how much more single men there are. That gap can't be that big without atleast a few of these women knowing and just not really caring. How else is that gap explained?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/23 05:59 PM
8

Isn't it like 60% of men are single and only 30% of women are? I personally don't think women care as much when men cheat. I'm pretty sure its just men control access to relationships, women control access to sex. So, women have the power in the beginning stages of relationships so men have to put in all the effort, but that switches as time goes on.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/23 05:22 PM
1

do you honestly think women hunted along side men? Where were the children at during this? Are the women actually stronger then the men and had the kids strapped and swaddled to their backs as they hunted along side the men or something..?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 08:24 PM
4

yes true. Look at ancient Chinese and Mayan empires, they had no contact at all and yet ended up with almost the same gender roles (women doing child care, men doing the working, hunting, fighting.) None of this is a "social construct" if ALL cultures have it the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 06:37 PM
5

but you said "culture" not world. Huge difference. When the entire world and ALL cultures are "patriarchal" it is obviously just biology, not a malicious cultural social construct..
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 06:35 PM
4

In a culture where the default is male This is not a real thing. For instance, in which culture is the default female by your definition? None. Even though all different cultures all over the world have different cultural norms.

/r/MensRights02/04/23 04:58 PM

That's pretty extreme, I would say un healthy even. If you want a woman to be 100% traditional, then you would also need to be. You would need to be very physical strong, intimidating to other men, extroverted to establish dominance in social circle, the whole nine yards to be a 100% trad masculine man. Like basically Henry Cavill so that also means with lots of money.

yeah but this is just MGTOW mindset lol and that is always frowned upon by the mainstream and they call men incels for it, but when women go their own way, they are celebrated as being girl-boss.

Violent offenders are most often repeat offenders. It is not even close to all men as a whole. "Men being angry" ... but who? Also, men attack other men MUCH more often then attacking women. Male domestic violent offenders are often repeat offenders as well. Also, yes it very valid to say "who is going to protect you" because you are implying if we raise boys well, then we can completely 100% eradicate murder and violent crimes and have world peace. That is not possible. That is the biggest flaw…

"leaving these women single for many years." lmao so its men's fault that career women are single. weird way to word it. Feminism always leaves out the downsides of equality. For instance, career men have never had time for their families. Career women want both a career and family. They don't realize you can't have your cake and eat it to.

How is it predatory? Do you think 22 year old women are helpless little infants without thoughts of their own?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 10:24 PM
15

That is definitely the progressive/feminist narrative that men want younger women because we are all predators and trying to groom young vulnerable women or something. I don't think they are vulnerable though. I think it is insanely misogynistic to say women are "vulnerable", weak, and stupid all the way up to the like 23 implying they have no self-control or something. I don't understand why anyone thinks 23 year olds are "vulnerable" to anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 04:41 AM

when you've never tried it But I have. I was 18 and depressed literally sitting at home playing video games all day going to a community college and I was smart enough to go to a therapist (or whoever it was) and the whole thing was "tell me how you feel, you should go for a walk and take these anti-depressants". It was pointless. I felt no better at all because therapists do not get the source of the problem. MY source of the problem was that I was not being put to work and being useful in my c…

Most young boys look up to strong independent men. But, the progressive influence just tells young men to continue playing video games all day but just make sure to go to a therapist so they can prescribe you anti-depressants and everything will be ok. The conservative influence is actually making something of yourself and be productive.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/23 07:38 PM

they'll address the andrew tate influence The created this though. Tate is only a symptom of a feminist centric mainstream narrative. When you destroy the archetype of "masculine, strong. and independent man" these young boys have NO archetype to look up to. Progressives took this away and are now worried about young boys looking elsewhere for guidance. As I said before, society as a whole needs to start promoting young boys to be masculine and strong again. This experiment of encouraging boys t…

lol another anti red-piller with no solutions. What are you doing to prevent young men from looking towards the red-pill in the first place? Are you actively sympathizing with young men or talking down to them and lecturing them about how they are inherently dangerous monsters? I am a guy that works in tech and I'm pretty sure there are only very few men that actually do harass women but when they do its only because these men are very socially awkward or old boomers. "Normal" guys don't. And normie men are like 90% of men.

Alt alt right ass shit What is that?? What is an example of alt-right stuff that RPers talk about? Just believing men and women are inherently different and date differently? The mainstream narrative is feminist centric and most people are pro-choice anyways. There is no right-wing "takeover".

1 - You are still not looking at the reasons why young men turn to the RP in the first place.. It is not ONLY because they are lonely, it is because virtually all young men witness the bad-boy phenomena during highschool and early twenties. Yes. 100%. However, when a man gets cheated on it's always "what did that man do to make her cheat??" Or when she leaves, its the same "what did he do to make her leave him?" Feminism and the mainstream narrative says there is no such thing as "bad" women though.

It's just fear of rejection. Women don't understand how much rejection young men go through. They never think about how its the men that have to do the pursuing. The men have to put themselves out there in the face of rejection. Women don't care or even think about this.

Nobody needs to be "useful" Yes we do. You are explaining exactly why I got snapped out of my depression when I joined the army. Wow yeah. Am Afghan vet myself and this all makes a lot of sense now. I also realized that the wife-beating and domestic violence in the 50's was just because those husbands of the 50's were WW2 veterans and PTSD was not studied at all back then. Where as feminists say it was "normalized" in the 50's when it was not, it was just that some many men were vets of that war.

I have realized the huge disparity between feminists and red-pillers is simply because men and women think differently. Our brains are wired differently. Nobody is against equality.
/r/MensRights03/02/23 10:03 PM

Feminism CLAIMS to support equality and it has made equality happen in some situations (voting, equal pay, etc..) but that is not what current modern feminists are about. Marriage is to create a strong family unit for the kids. Both parents sacrifice for it. Yes, I think women need to reconsider the whole notion of marrying a handsome doctor or lawyer or whatever because all these women can do that themselves now.
/r/MensRights23/01/23 08:45 PM
12

"hypergamy" has always been based on biology forever. However, in modern times where women can work much of the same jobs as men and actually have an impact on building society outside of having kids, it messes up the whole hypergamy thing because now more and more women are making more money so it throws everything off. We have to adapt to it somehow.
/r/MensRights23/01/23 08:37 PM

Feminism does use stats like almost all violence against women is proven to be from men. Both sides cherry pick data though. I think there are barely any female Republican congress members because those are just trad-wives so they simply have no interest in running for congress. But with the red pill side, how can you prove women initiate divorce because of hypergamy and not just a mis-match of long term goals?
/r/MensRights23/01/23 06:26 PM
1

You honestly think most women out there will leave you for a richer guy? That is so bizarre to me. I know the stats that show women initiate divorce over men, however where is the data to prove its BECAUSE of hypergamy?? You can say men are also hypergamous in nature when it comes to men going for attractive women over ugly women,.

I loved red-pill stuff but I recently got tired of it. I got tired of watching videos that bash feminism and crazy girls on tiktok without offering actual solutions. Some of these girls are absolutely terrible and misandrists, but not all women are. The red-pill generalizes all women exactly how feminism generalizes all men. That's why I got tired of the red-pill, I stopped generalizing by looking at all the women I have known in my whole life and all the married couples I know. I am 1000% posit…

Women should be welcome here, this is for mens issues WITHOUT a feminist lense. r/menslib is weird because they still prioritize womens issues over mens issues even though they say its to "help" men. The best possible thing to do is give constructive criticism towards feminism to make it less toxic and hateful towards men, and also "traditional" women. Bashing feminism is pointless, but even with healthy legitimate concerns, you automatically get attacked as a misogynist.
/r/MensRights18/01/23 09:38 PM

The draft exists for a reason, its because men do make better fighters, so its not necessarily misandry. It's just the hypocrisy of feminism calling out workplace equality but shying away from the draft and the trade jobs.
/r/MensRights18/01/23 03:05 AM
14

That is what they say, that toxic masculinity is taught. However, they do nothing to uplift young boys socially. They either do nothing at all to make sure boys grow into good men, or they abuse them as OP is saying. However, with young girls its always "you can be anything you want queen blah blah blah".
/r/MensRights17/01/23 10:42 PM
2

Yes, I work in tech because I was already in the military and I am tired of physical labor back breaking work. I just hate how literally everyone looks down on physical labor jobs and its especially bad with feminists because they look at these men as stupid grunts, so they don't want to do that work themselves. Huge mainstream push for women in the corporate workforce, a tiny fractional push of women into the trades. They are avoiding it.
/r/MensRights17/01/23 03:21 PM
36

That is terrible, but I have never heard it. That seems to be the common feminist view of young boys. They always paint boys as being born inherently evil or dangerous which is not a good way to raise any human as "default bad".
/r/MensRights17/01/23 03:18 PM
3

Yes I do think men are more effective in physical labor, however these jobs are essential infrastructure jobs, which means someone MUST do these jobs, you would think feminists would want to have that responsibility and do an important job, but they don't. If no one chooses to do these jobs, cities would collapse.
/r/MensRights17/01/23 03:09 PM

Yes, but women don't do those jobs at all, not even for a last resort.
/r/MensRights17/01/23 03:05 PM

An example of what exactly? Just look at the construction industry, feminists do not fight for women to work with their boots on the ground, they only fight for women to be in upper management. This will end up with women in a literal ivory tower while the men are on the ground outside dying and getting maimed on the job. Same as any other physical labor job industry, like oil pipelines, feminists do nothing to tell women to work on oil rigs, only in management roles so they are safe from physic…
/r/MensRights17/01/23 02:07 PM

Still to this day, feminists expect men to do deadly hazardous jobs. I should have the right to not have to sacrifice my safety just because I am a man.

Men have are more physically fit on average. I like being active so that helps me I guess? It's also not as scary for me walking down a dark alley alone at night since I have a better chance at defending myself.
/r/MensRights17/01/23 01:25 AM
10

They are only looking at specific things. They are cherry picking data. Men are at the top as CEO's, but men ALSO make up the BOTTOM of society as the majority of homeless / dangerous deadly jobs. The education gap is also growing against men.
/r/MensRights10/01/23 11:42 PM

Bullies are just naturally insecure people. Like I said, I always think of Prince whenever I see feminine looking guys and I cant really say anything bad about guys lookin feminine because I have also seen some pretty weird/feminine looking guys with good looking girls. I was in the military, and I follow guys like Jocko, and guys like that wouldn't bully anyone because bullying is pointless.
/r/MensRights08/01/23 03:24 AM

I dont think much men at all complain about men dressing feminine, unless its a very specific thing like Harry Styles wearing feminine clothing on magazine covers just for the clout. For example, Prince was always drowning in girls and he dressed and even acted feminine.
