Nah no kids. That made the divorce very simple. We just divided up our stuff

I’m glad. That’s fairly accurate so far

Yeah luckily we don’t have any kids together. Splitting our things was also really easy since we just got out of college. Being on my own has definitely become more normal to me but it still hard. I think I relied too much of my emotional health on my wife.

Agreed. It helps to talk to someone that’s not connected to any of it or doesn’t bring up there stuff

Yeah I need to reach out to those around me. I haven’t isolating myself and keeping things inside.

Thanks. Your comments helps a lot. I think I’ll start journaling again. That helped me a lot. You’re right I’m running away from my feelings. Occasionally I’ll let myself feel and it just cry which is what happened last night when I posted this. But I need to feel my emotions. And I am young. Still in my 20s. I just hope I can learn from this and not let it keep me down.

Luckily we were only married for 2 years and together for another year before that so even though it feels like our lives are intertwined down to the roots I know that I’ll get past this. We separated last year and it’s weird how normal not having around is becoming. While we were separated I kept thinking she’d come back. When she decided to divorce she only came back for her things and we didn’t even see each other. It’s just weird to have her out of my life ya know?

Yeah I have some friends where I live that know about the situation, I just moved to my city last year. But I haven’t been very good about letting them help me. I need to reach out more.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
