The main thing here is the idea that "According to genetic studies historically during times of extreme patriarchies around 40-60% of men never had offspring" But this is a completely incorrect way to interpret genetics. For the women, they're using Mitochondrial DNA as the marker. A woman passes Mitochondrial DNA down to all her children, sons or daughters. For the men they're using the Y-Chromosome. But, the Y-Chromosome is only passed down to HALF a man's offspring - his sons. So who's missin…

You claim "the data" supports it but you don't support this with any data. If it's true that "40-60% of men never had offspring while most women did" then who were the woman having offspring with? Are you saying that polygamy was the norm?

If so many men are becoming redpilled, why are both men and women staying single longer? Because people are more aware of the deal. Both women and men can decide that the game isn't worth playing.

That's not really born out by other countries where it's legal, they don't see a significant uptick in clients. What I think is that just being legal doesn't change cultural attitudes towards it. I live in Australia where it's legal, have never had a conversation with someone who mentioned it. The main difference is that in countries where it's legal it's a hell of a lot safer for the women, because a legal industry drives the organized crime out of the market and gives the women better control …

I agree with you. This type of whataboutism shown in the OP is akin to saying you can't talk about homelessness in the USA until you've solved the hunger problem in Africa, when we should in fact be tackling both problems at the same time. Perhaps solving the structural issues in society for both men and women is something you do in fact need to tackle at the same time, listening to all voices. A feminism that will work needs to have a plan on how all people advance, not just half, and I think i…

As I said, my entire understanding of trophy wives was that they’re always more attractive and less intelligent than their (often) older husband; this being their main, if only, value. While men’s value has socially been driven by their income and what they can provide, which is expressed extensively in the paragraph right after the part you quoted. You're right on the bald thing, i misquoted. Let me clarify that: no bald men have gotten voted in as president for 51 years. Basically, since telev…

Men get stressed when their wives make more money than they do That's a fairly well studied phenomena, but nothing about that backs up the idea that wives are "trophies". Let's read the actual article you linked: They found that men felt the most anxious when they were the sole breadwinner in the family, and the least stressed when their women partners were contributing 40% to the household income. This is saying men also get stressed when women earn LESS than they do. In fact, they get even mor…

it still is going to analyze and make decisions based on logical programming not emotion. I think that's too reductive. AI can totally be irrational. Just because they're built on top of computer hardware doesn't mean they always "act logical" in terms of acting like Spock or Data. Hell, if you want an overly dramatic AI that's always getting emotional and being unreasonable, you can have that right now. Just ask ChatGPT for that, and you can sample what that's like with the current-gen existing…

Trophy Wife There's not actually much evidence that the 'trophy wife' thing holds up in reality: https://www.npr.org/2014/10/23/358238948/is-there-really-such-a-thing-as-a-trophy-wife

social status which robots dont have. Social status would be a big one people are missing I also dont think a robot can continually introduce new things in the bedroom and relationship to keep it fun for the woman. I don't think this one would be an issue. The robot would almost certainly be cloud-connected, and there would be online software for every imaginable kink and sexual position. A robot has the ability to download new behaviors instantly. Generative AI can also come up with stuff that …

Then you had WW2 and the same pattern repeated itself from WW1. Large increase in both consensual and non-consensual sex, and a corresponding increase in STDs, paternity fraud, etc. This time, the massive shift in sexual mores did not really occur until about 20 years after WW2 Well in that case it feels like your theory doesn't actually fit, because you're glossing over a gap of decades between cause and effect. This theory should probably go back to the drawing board. 20 years is an entire new…

The red pill doesn't necessarily show you the true reality, that's just BS anyone claiming their worldview is the "true" one. It's a new constructed reality. Red Pill is true in the sense that David Icke's lizard conspiracy is true, though just not as extreme. David Icke addresses actual real-world imbalances of power, but then directs you to believe that lizards are behind everything. The Red Pill looks at some real-world issues, then creates the framework that specific groups are behind all yo…

If people get sucked into Red Pill / far right conspiracy theories, then suggesting they stop looking at that shit and would be better off isn't "blaming men". The people actually hurt the most by that content are in fact the dupes who got sucked into it. This stuff isn't actually that far off from, say, if your parents suddenly got into QAnon. You'd want them to quit that stuff. That stuff all ends up with the Cultural Marxism stuff, which btw is actually a conspiracy theory that was invented i…

Also, men typically outnumber women on those apps by a large margin. For example if there were 2 guys per each girl, which is actually close, then men could swipe right on 50% of women, and that would be totally balanced by women only swiping right on 25% of men. Then someone could look at that data and honestly claim men are attracted to "most" (i.e. at least half) of all women, but women are "not attracted to 75% of men". The word "most" is doing some heavy lifting here, since it could be anyw…

Plenty of studies show the amount of hitting from either gender is basically at the same rate. This really does comes down to the fact that one gender can hit harder, thus causes more issues. Either gender can have control issues, emotional issues and communication issues. This is also apparent when you look into it and realize the level of DV is the same in the lesbian, gay and straight communities. If it was just a man thing, why are lesbians hitting each other? https://www.thetimes.co.uk/arti…

A guy here, i just peeked into the sub and thought OP might be exaggerating, but seeing some of the responses, I'm seeing her point. Most of the arguments are moronic to the point that they'd be doing their fellow men more of a favor by just shutting up. Someone can make a reasonable response to some of the points, but I almost feel this is wasted here. For example, that men are anti-abortion: that can be checked and in Pew surveys, the number of pro-choice men and pro-choice women is always pre…

But you have to remember that people pair up. The ratio skews as that happens. 400,000 dead and almost all men means 400,000 women who basically won't ever find a partner, because that potential partner doesn't exist. sure, the women can play musical chairs and a lot of them will have a partner at some point, but the fact remains that at any point, there will be an "excess" amount of 400,000 women in the dating pool compared to men.

In some places the economy may be poor, so boys are more likely to move away looking for better work. But it's actually pretty close in Colombia, so it might be a factor that in the cities there are more women but men are more likely to work in agriculture or other fields.

Pro-tip: almost no actual harem anime end up with anyone confessing to anyone. There, saved you some time.

Those types of shows were basically a subversion of the more classic harem stuff: they took a superhero or fantasy world story then they cram a harem in there too. Classic harem is usually some timid loser guy who gets his ass kicked surrounded by pushy girls. the frequency with which the guy gets injured due to perceived or actual faults is the joke. often if they have powers, the male character will be the only one who DOESN'T have any powers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYyPMFSRyGI
