It is part of the culture yes, but it shouldn't be. I don't like hearing the word even when it's 2 black youths saying to each other (white guy hear). It makes me feel bad for them. I agree there are many roles that can be filled, and that they are already fighting in our current wars. I'm not saying they can't, in fact I encourage them too. I think the issue is that we are trying to force equally in a job where being able to perform as expected is literally a life or death situation.
