It all starts with having a life that you feel confident with. Once you know you're awesome, then you can be yourself and express your true thoughts and feelings to others. Some people will like you and others won't but at least you're being true to yourself which can boost your confidence when further. All while not being a dickhead of course.

Women need to feel protected by their man. That means being aware of your surroundings at all times. As I said you need to be assertive, dominant, confident, and decisive. Women love that shit. Instead of asking "where do you want to go for dinner?" say "this new Italian restaurant opened recently, we should try it out tonight." Little things like that makes her feel protected because you have the control and power. I'm not saying you need to constantly be scheduling and planning all the dates b…

Man this is way too similar to my most recent relationship. We met on okcupid as well last December. Everything was going great for a while. She'd make plans often times and cook me food and so on, everyone's happy. However I got complacent (you never become complacent!) Now my ex didn't have depression or an awful living experience, in fact quite the opposite. She was a pharmacist who earned at least 3x the amount of money that I do. Only a few months later did she start becoming distant and se…

I'm gonna assume 'lifting' is going to be one of the seven posts. I would've put that first and this second. Nobody wants to spend a lot of money on a new wardrobe and then get in shape (assuming they're out of shape).

I bought a few slim fitting v-necks from Express that are really comfortable and lightweight.

I agree with both of your comments here. MFA's guidelines in the sidebar are very well written and have helped me a ton, but a lot of the posts in the WAYWT threads are scrawny dudes mainly wearing clothes I never would.

Check out Levi's 511 (slim) or 541 (athletic) fit. Quality jeans at a decent price.

boat shoes and shorts are perfectly fine - to go on a boat, on the beach, or to chill lakeside I mostly agree with this although there are some exceptions. It all depends on location. Boat shoes should only be worn from June-August/September in most climates with chinos (shorts or pinrolled pants, always without socks). the naked leg makes you look derelict even if its a 300 pair of shorts. This I disagree with. I don't understand the hate on shorter shorts in this thread. Shorts with a 9" insea…

You need to escalate and meet a lot sooner. After 3-4 weeks she's lost complete interest. You should only be exchanging a few messages before you ask her out, then only message her the day of the date to confirm. If she learns everything about you through texting it completely eliminates any mystery she has of you.

This is why I often wish I lived in earlier times. Back when you had to work hard just to eat, back when you could go outside and explore the world with your friends. Nowadays it's all about the internet, social media, and your value is weighed by how many likes you get on Instagram. Nobody can just go out and have fun without posting to Snapchat or checking in on Facebook. Your grandfather is the kind of man that I aspire to be. I need to keep this idea in my mind at all times. Thank you for sh…

Good job now keep it up. Also remember, It's not always what you're saying that matters but what your body language is saying. Good posture, looking confident and relaxed, speaking loud, clear, and slow, keep eye contact (never be the one to break first) and don't forget to smile. Read the book!
/r/seduction27/05/16 02:46 PM

If you haven't read Models then you need to right now. The most important thing you need to remember is to not give a fuck. Don't hold back your actions or emotions because you're worried about how others will view you. Don't give a fuck because you have nothing to lose. You also need to own the fact that you're going to get rejected, so pound that into your head and learn to be okay with it. Too many men view rejection as a negative and a confidence killer. Don't think of it that way. Think of …

STEM jobs are highly sought after nowadays and will continue to grow in the future. If you have a degree in computer science or medicine you're golden. I'm 25 now and I work in the architecture field. I'm not an architect but simply a CAD operator, so I'm basically at the bottom of the barrel as far as pay. One of the things my ex told me when she broke up with me (the reason I came to TRP in the first place, surprise surprise.) was that she didn't think I wanted more in my life. That really set…

part of me is still angry with myself for ruining it in the first place I think this is a big part of it and I can relate. About a month ago my GF left me for reasons like yours. After reading a couple subreddits I realized so many things I was doing wrong or just given false information all my life when it comes to women and relationships. You realize and learn all this information days after she leaves you. Leaving you angry and frustrated and wishing you knew all of this sooner and she'd stil…

A relationship is a fun thing to add to an already awesome life, but if you base your entire happiness and identity on another person, you’re deluding yourself AND the other person. If you’re feeling really terrible about a break up, it’s probably because you never developed your own identity. This was word for word my biggest problem. Instead of living a happy life then finding a girl to join the ride, I relied on a girl to provide 90% of my happiness. Never again.

Finding this group of guy friends is probably my biggest problem at this point. Between this subreddit and a couple others I've learned a lot and decided it's time to become a man. I instantly cut out video games and I've been hitting the gym religiously and reading up. Anyways, I never had that close group of 4-5 guys who meet up at a bar or shoot pool or go to a baseball game or whatever. I don't have a circle of friends, I have a few decent friends but I never see them all at once. They're no…

One tip - Living on campus (at least in the US) is WAY more expensive than living in a nearby apartment. Plus you'll have to follow the rules of the school. Depending on the school this can mean no coed dorms, no alcohol, room inspections, etc. I'd recommend getting an apartment off campus when you decide to move. Good point, it's something I'm going to consider. One of the schools I'm applying to has an in-state resident 'discount' so that one won't be too bad. Good for you for thinking long-te…

I want to trust me. The thing is, I don't want a dumpy apartment and there's not much in my area that I'd consider that's in my budget. I considered a roommate to help that but now after realizing all the shit I've realized in the past month, I want more for my life. I don't like my job much and there's not much growth there as far as pay. So I'm looking to go to a four year school living on campus (something I've never done but always wanted to). So why waste money on an apartment if I'm planni…

Thanks I'll check it out! I'm aware of AWALT and all that stuff, but this girl is an independent, career-driven pharmacist. She clearly stated she may never find the right man for her blah blah and she'd be fine with it. I know for a fact if I was unplugged months ago we'd still be together. I wasn't dominant and assertive enough which is what all women need and it took this to realize all the shit I've done incorrectly all these years. Anyways enough rambling about my beta filled past... Even i…

I'm surprised to read a comment like this. From what I've read, the majority of TRP would say "fuck that bitch and forget about your past." This may be something I'll do depending on how things go, just a short and sincere thank you for igniting the flame.

I guess you guys are right as far as living with my parents. I'm 25 and have lived in the same home with them all my life. Up until I started reading this subreddit I've always been more embarrassed living at home the older I got. I guess I just wanted the full freedom and independence. Most of all, no woman wants to date a 25 year old boy who still lives at home with mommy and daddy. Of course this is when I was a codependent beta with no frame. Up until now is that I realize who gives a fuck w…

Thank you for posting this, I really needed this today. My ex dumped me less than a month ago and today is the closing date on buying her first home. Meanwhile I'm still living with my parents. One thing she said to me was that I didn't want more for my life. Made me feel like shit. This stuck with me and woke me the fuck up. I've only been on this sub since then so I'm still adapting and learning. I'm currently in the "get my ass into shape" phase as well as developing new interests and hobbies…

To start, I'd find a gym to go to after work. It will make you feel better overall, look better and boost your confidence and maybe meet some new people.

“Why are you so quiet?” This is easily the #1 thing I hear regularly that bothers me most. It actually irritates me and I'm tired of hearing it. But just like you said, it seems fake when I try to be the loud alpha guy (or maybe I'm just not used to it?). The thing about me is, I don't want to be inside all the time away from people. I'm not that kind of introvert. I'm always down to do something and try to initiate things but my friends are busy 90% of the time (mostly working) which is fine, a…

I'm fairly new to this sub and I've since had this question: Do any of you guys want children? A boy to pass on what you've learned so they can be alphas as well? Would you have a child without a LTR/marriage? Most guys on this sub just wanna fuck a lot of women without any entitlements and be rich (who doesn't?) but then they go on talking about how their future children will do this and that...

That's what I keep telling myself. If we never broke up I never would've realized I spent 25 years living with the wrong mindset. I don't blame myself for being a beta, it's what I've been taught, luckily for me I've been putting all of my anger and frustration into the gym. Not because she dumped me, but because I was given false information all these years. I will keep learning and I will keep improving, for myself and nobody else.

This hits too close to fucking home. I dated a woman exactly like this. Career-oriented, highly-motivated, independent, and driven. She's a pharmacist rising up quickly, just got promoted and runs her own store, makes a lot more than me, etc. Exactly one week ago she dumped me because I was a fucking beta. I didn't dominate her like I should have, I wasn't the man she needed, I didn't give her value. It was only a few days ago that I found this sub and already learned so much. I wish I had known…

Thanks for all the info. I'm from the states but I'm mostly Italian and would like to visit one day so I figured why the hell not learn the language? Also, what exactly is that workbook? Is it just writing exercises?

Hey just checkin in on how the Italian is going for you? I haven't started yet but I'm debating between Rosetta Stone and Duolingo, how's that working for you? I've also looked into that book you recommended.

I used to struggle going to the gym, I hated it. I figured I'd just eat better so I wouldn't need to go. After reading a lot from this sub and TRP I decided I need to make a drastic change. I've been going to the gym daily ever since and don't expect to stop anytime soon (6 days a week). I'm more motivated than I've ever been and I really feel better only a few days in. Thanks for this.

Man I really need to get on your level! I just found this sub a few days ago and I already feel much more confident and proud of myself. Step one for me is to get in shape so it's going to take me months at least to even reach that aspect. I need to work on my game as well especially. TRP is a lot of information to take in but I know I can achieve it in time. I'm more motivated now than I ever have been in my entire life.

Why wait until you need to stop? Quit now. If you really want to improve yourself it's going to take discipline and much more. You'll feel better and will give you a sense of accomplishment which boosts confidence. You're still in high school, odds are you'll never see most of your classmates ever again in a year or two. Do what you need to do for you. You posted here for a reason, you're already aware of what you need to do. Get a head start on the rest of your classmates and others your age.

The reason I started keto was because I stopped going to the gym for three months and was eating crap. Now that I'm back in the gym regularly I was curious if it would be better if I eat pasta, potatoes, bread, etc. to gain muscle. I'm currently 5'11" 183, I'd be happy to stay in the 170-180 range. I'm not necessarily depriving myself of carbs because I rarely crave them anymore so I don't see a reason to come off of keto. I will have a cheat meal every few weeks however if absolutely necessary.

Thanks, I'll stick to what's been working. I've been using this multivitamin, gotta get another.

I wonder if I should ditch keto and go back on carbs? I have been losing fat quickly however and I overall feel much better. I'm still eating protein and fat, just cut out carbs and sugar. I'm just looking to lean out and bulk up a bit at this point. I still gotta be roughly 20% body fat at the moment.

I agree with u/omziraal. All of my friends are either in relationships, busy working, don't drink, etc. I don't think I could just go to a social setting alone and jump into a group of people without them thinking "who the fuck is this guy?"
