I loved the article and am excited to see the film, but I'm a little wary of the source, here - being that there isn't one. There seems to be a lot of conjecture in the article with virtually no direct quotes. It's an awful lot of paraphrasing without any kind of sourcing. This isn't challenging bias. The way I'm taking this ad is, "Inviting someone to your flat isn't consent to have sex." The "You asked him if he wanted to have sex, right?" line is sarcasm - it's sarcastically saying that because you asked for his phone number, and asked him over, you OBVIOUSLY hinted that you wanted sex, too. What I "mean" (heh) by this is that I find the mean to be a stat someone can glance at quickly with very few other data sets and get the gist of what is being said. The median, however, can be tricky and isn't as relevant without a lot of context to back it up. Just my opinion...of course both stats require at least some context, like the number of CEOs analyzed.

I agree with this - everywhere I see rape statistics broken-down by gender, the stats vary wildly. They can skew anywhere from 50W/50M to 90W/10M. But, of course, I appreciate that the infographic is trying to appeal to feminists, as well, along with their widely-used statistics.

The thing I find works absolutely 100% best for me is to treat the interview as less of an interrogation and more of a conversation. Instead of a strict "ask a question, give an answer" format, I usually tend to end up chit-chatting with the recruiters, asking them about culture, joking around... Same here. Most jobs I've interviewed for, I've been severely over-dressed compared to those interviewing me. Guess what? I've never interviewed without getting a job offer (solid lifetime 6/6 record). Do I interview really well? For sure - it's one of my strong suits; but I knew if I under-dressed, my chances could have been hurt. There are very few places that will dock you marks for over-dressing. If anything, it shows your commitment and your willingness to overachieve.

Oh I definitely agree 100%! My largest issue with feminism is almost one of jealousy - that their issues carry such a loud voice that legitimate men's issues such as the one-sided judicial system get swept under the rug. I certainly agree. I feel the lack of advantages every single day. Issues that affect me as a white, heterosexual male don't carry half as much weight and are never brought to attention simply because we have been privileged in the past. Now, toss in the fact that I'm spat on by the legal system, that I need to walk on egg-shells around all other people, and that I can lose out on a job because I'm not a minority/female. I really fail to see how my "privileges" outweigh anyone else's.

The most surprising part of this story to me is that a representative of the WRC actually gave men a fair mention at all. What's not surprising is that he was instantly torn to shreds for having the decency to show both sides of the serious problem that is domestic abuse... I still don't understand how feminists can possibly justify arguing against someone who is A) supporting one of their causes and B) providing pertinent information to help end domestic abuse for both sexes.

I've come to understand that groups with a commonality have a right to celebrate together as a group. I don't see how this is any different than a group of people who like a certain sports team having a night out, or a group of artists going out together to talk about topics they find commonly of interest. Ray Rice may not be the best example to defend this case... He may have been strongly provoked, but he literally dragged her limp body out of the elevator across the floor. In the woman's case, the investigation is still on-going and there isn't overwhelming video evidence of the acts in question. I'm with you guys on the double standards all the way!
