| 1 | Joining the military?I have yet to serve with any in the Infantry as yet. I dont mind so long as they understand they HAVE to to pull their own weight, lives depend on it. However, knowing how men react around women. And around only men, I dont agree that it is good to mix the genders, it hinders combat performance. Men are programmed to protect women. | 9 | Joining the military?Active army here. Also did time in the marine, and air national guard. I'll be honest. The pay is crap. Unless your a warrant. Or an officer. Once you make sergeant on the enlisted side, you are widely respected. Assuming your not trash at your job. You will make the best of friends, and deal with some of the dumbest people in the world.
