This list is.....sooooo long o.o Like wtf. I know many women are in similar situations but it is nice that you realized that he is not the one. You learned it the long and hard way but you learned it! He is not going to change and he is using you. If you stay with FDS a bit longer you will find stories that prove that if a man really wants you and loves you he wouldnt treat you that way. He is using you as a bank, a cleaning lady and sex doll. Btw him being short with making compliments and givi…

YES. A lesson I had to learn the hard way. After knowing I was on birth control my ONS took off the condom while having sex (without me knowing). I was terrified and left right away after finding out. I was so scared of having a STD - he was just concerned about getting me pregnant. His last words were that he usually doesnt do that. Thanks I guess? Later I found out that this is called stealthing and because it happend without my consent thats basically rape. Haunts me till today. Also another …

"As there was no way I was going to let this ruin what we had" Can we please normalize leaving these men? Even if we spend years with them? Lol. First of all: HE ruined it. HE collected it. These women always say "I didnt want to let -IT- ruin our relationship" But what they mean is: "I didnt want to let HIM ruin our relationship." The porn folder didnt ruin it. HE did by consuming, downloading and following it for YEARS. She is lying to herself shifting the blame to an object, something that is…

Yes, thats the video. I think you just outgrow most of them. There are still teen shows that I enjoy watching, but their casting choices (mid 20's) dont really give you these icky vibes.

Never watched the show but saw an enlightening video on youtube that explained why I probably shouldnt. It depicts teenagers in lets phrase it...extreme circumstances. And a lot of nudity. The nudity is said to be there to be more "relatable" for teens. But this show is also not aimed at teens? I am confused? When watching it do you realize that these are teenagers? Minors? I mean...its too extreme and R-rated to be made for teens. But why include so much teen nudity if its is aimed at adults? I…

Putting people with unresolved mental health issues on tv for entertaining purposes is pretty questionable. If you study psychology you are always reminded that you cant and shouldnt diagnose people if you 1. are not qualified or 2. dont know them god enough. Claiming to figure out their problems within a few hours is a disgrace for the whole field. Also it is incredibly cruel to confront people with their issues/traumas infront of such a big audience. It is hard enough to open up to someone whe…

I am so sorry for you. Heartbreak is hard. It will last for a while but it will also fade and eventually vanish. He said "yes I have during our relationship but not frequently. " That is a sign for you that you made the right decision. He probably lied about other things too. I know it is easy to rethink your whole relationship. I did that too after finding out my ex was lying. It is not worth your time, okay? It doesnt matter anymore what he lied about. Or how often he did it. You found out and…

This reminds me so much of: What would you do if you were alone on earth for one day? Women--> Taking a nice long walk through the park at night. And Parking Garages are my nightmare. Quite similar to waiting at night at railroad crossings.

FUN FACT: Incels were originally formed by a WOMAN as a support group. No seriously. In the beginning it was a friendly support group. Then it became toxic. Basically: Their little bitter woman hating group is founded by a woman. Of course they wouldnt admit it. I just think the irony here is on point xD (if you want to listen to the interview its from the Podcast "Reply All - #120 INVCEL") And of course you are right. I dont know where this female incels comes from...their bitterness maybe?

Yes! If I would have been in that situation I would have feared for my life. If hes breaking anything or just screaming like that he is just one step away from physically hurting you. AND: If he shows behavior like that once --> he will do it again. A men how beats you once doesnt change. They will do it again. And statistics show that it often doesnt end well.

My first thought on this was "WHO DOES THAT?" I mean it is quite odd to ask in the first place. He acts like sex would be a natural need like food or water or even worse something that he can DEMAND in a relationship.

I love it here. It is my internet save space! Just wanted to let you know: You are great, independent and dont need a man. Men are desserts. Just an extra in life not a necessetiy.

Hi! I am a "youngest daughter". I was the last to attend university and I would like to give you an insight. My mom always communicated to us that she is a strong woman. I admired that. But growing up I realised that that was not healthy. She wanted us to have the best life but would never show when she felt down. I only saw my mother cry ONCE in my whole life. She wanted to stay strong for us. Now I am older and I realized that my family is pretty bad at communicating their feelings. It was alw…

Its horror movies becoming reality. Choose a violent scene - add sex to it - and its suddenly accepted in society.

Porn taught them obviously >.> Its similar to why people seek out alcohol when they feel down. It doesnt taste good, it doesnt make you feel better, but you do it because you saw it in so many movies. These men obviously consume porn because most women would not ask for that! The difference is that if you consume alcohol when youre down its on you. You harm yourself with it. But assuming that a woman wants to experience physical pain for your pleasure just harms her, not you. It is not that they…

I am so sorry to hear that. I was in a bad relationship myself and after the break up I just realized how badly he treated me. Most of my friends cut ties with him. But some didnt. Not my friends anymore! If they truly value you as a friend and know what you've been through and still stay in contact with him "for harmony" - fuck them!! Your well being and mental health should be more important than them not wanting to be in an uncomfortable situation. Tell them that. You feeling isolated is tota…

" no matter how I look, there will always be men jumping at the opportunity to ridicule my appearance. " THIS. You experienced it yourself. It took me years to find out that I should focus on what body I want instead of what body would appeal to a male audience. There is no body that is perfect in their eyes but there is a body that it perfect for YOU. The fact what you brought up about the looks of those guys is pretty interesting if you ask me. We are trained to believe that good looking men a…

Things he also values more: - his phone - his outfit - a cheap weekend trip - a night in a nice hotel - the food he eats - his laptop/pc/console Lets say you have a job where you get $10 an hour. You would have to work 25 hours. In a 5 day week thats 5 hours a day. $250 is a joke.

Cheap men are bad. Cheap men who are actually quite wealthy are the worst. It reminds me of my great aunt who was literally trapped in a marriage with a cheap, horrible asshole. He had plenty money. He denied her going on with her career, them having kids and buying things that would only benefit her (in that case a kitchen - of course it had to be a kitchen). He spend money on her clothes and jewlery but as soon as she asked for something specific he would shut down. When they were pretty old (…

I have a similar habit but i see it more like an ocd to be honest. It triggers me if stuff is too untidy. I never saw it as something to impress men :D Also most partys I attempt are with mostly female guests. As another commenter said: Its the intention. Do you clean because you want to impress someone? --> pickme I once was at a party where some men behaved awful. They spilled beer everywhere (in a flat) and one of their girlfriends started cleaning up their mess. Me and another friend threw t…

Looking back knowing FDS some things are just crazy. A story of a friend comes to mind: He cheated on her (during the pandemic), made her move out of the flat and didnt care at all(treated her horribly!). 4 months later he comes back and begs her for forgiveness. She (has her own flat, finally single after 10 years with that lvm, finds joy in new interests) FORGIVES HIM. I was shocked and asked her why. WAIT FOR IT. She said: He really puts in effort you know. He comes over everyday, bought me f…

I had to work with a group of guys (i was the only woman) on a project for a few weeks. One of them was super lazy, always late and bad at what he was doing and still thought he was BETTER than me. He dropped sexist comments everytime I told him to do his fucking work. I was the only one calling him out. Everyone else was quiet. They knew his behaviour was wrong but nobody bothered to help me. At the end of the project we had a big fight and I called him out again for his comments. He said that …

All before FDS: First lied about his age(he was younger), then lied about his apartment (he still lived at home), then lied about his sexual experience(he never had sex before but would brag about his sexual experiences in front of his friends)... Basically the guy I fell for was a made up persona by him. I should have left after the first lie. I wanted a partner, he just wanted a girlfriend to collect "experience" so he could impress a girl he really wanted to spend his life with. From the begi…

" it will just make you bitter and resentful. " This is SO TRUE. It doesnt matter how much you love someone, if they have different understandings of "clean" you will end up doing all the shit. You wont just end up bitter but also lowkey hating him more and more. BTW a bad diet is a no go for me because some men develop a pretty nasty body smell through a bad diet.

No matter how you behave, they will misunderstand you. You smile = you flirt You dont smile = you're a bitch Basically my life. How often guys would misunderstand me just being nice for flirting or me just not smiling for "being a bitch".

I can confirm! When I was a teen I was so desperate to get their attention and be noticed as a "possible girlfriend". I had mainly male friends and I treated it as a personality trait. I was so insecure because nobody would flirt with me. So I picked male friends as a kind of substitude. Now I know that my female friends are the best thing that ever happend to me. They support me in a way men could never. I think girls who say that never experienced true female friendships.

Making friends as an adult is harder but maybe some of my tips could help you. Start a hobby that is done in a group. Group sports, language courses or courses that seem to attract mainly women (sewing for example). Find a bookclub or a running group. In courses you can always choose to sit next to women (its easier to connect to people who are there alone too). If a guy approaches you, brush him off - you dont want to date. You want to meet new people. Casually talk about interests. Give compli…

That reminds me so much of: MEn aRe VicTIms Of doMEstIc ViOlenCE TOo The classic "men experience that too"... I am sick of hearing it. I am tired of explaining that women are significantly more affected by these things. I watch a youtube documentation about sexual assault. First comment "That was nice and such. But you know, you should really do one about men being assaulted" I usually go with the "mean look" too because it is less confrontational but it really boils my blood because if I stand …

I personally like anime but I dont like most anime communitys. If hes part of an anime community? Run! But I actually think this is a good chance for finding out what kind of guy he is. First: What does he watch? Is it one male character surrounded many female characters? (aka Harem) - OUT! Is the anatomy of the female characters correct? No ?(aka Ecchi) - OUT! Is the story mainly about a guy finding a girlfriend - Most of the time OUT! Many young men love certain anime that depict their male fa…

It must be so frustrating for women in Hollywood to get decent roles. I think movies which dont even pass the Bechdel test are a total waste of time. A movie passes the Bechdel-test if it fulfilles 3 basic requirements: It has to have at least 2 women in it... who talk to each other... about something besides a man And I want to put an emphasis on basic. I am craving movies with strong female characters that dont sexualize them, make them chase after a men or serve them to "become a better men".

I often meet guys who will randomly call perfectly fine women ugly or fat. (When they talk to their friends) Like some are really pretty and they would find a little thing (for example the nose or their legs) to talk them down. Not to mention that these ladys are always waaaay out of their own league. If you hear that speak up. I always do and I can see how their faces change and they feel uncomfortable because they know what they do it wrong.
