Thanks for pointing that out! Corrected. We do enjoy a lot of the same media and we've known each other since high school. One of my only friends left over from that era of my life. And she has been supportive of me in times of need. Just sometimes conversations are hard because of that stuff. I don't view it as her being evil or wrong. I look at it like its more akin to a disability. She just can't see things beyond that perspective or out of that lens. Not sure what could ever be done.

Hmm that is interesting. One of my law professors indicated that rarely anything suffices as proof in a truth defense other than a court decision about the matter. IE: guy steals from me. I have video proof that the guy stole from me. I'm still not allowed to go around telling people that he is a thief until a court finds him to be that, even though I have my own evidence. Sorry I should clarify. I am Canadian and it is different here than USA as other commenters have informed me. USA has freedom of speech. Canada doesn't actually have freedom of speech in the same sense. It's more of "you can say whatever you want until we tell you not to." As for truth as a defense it doesn't fly here usually. I agree that we need to not call out the male population as a whole. The actions of some don't define the actions of all. Though, I'm sure most people at least know someone who would do something like this. Oh, I know that deal.
