| 1 | "A future safer for women."That's an interesting potted history. Fortunately, that single module on gender ideology was only a snippet which sullied my learning. The overwhelming majority was proper English with regular texts, classical authors and genuine discussion. I do fear for upcoming undergraduates, as the language around these topics has gradually seeped into universities to become a wholescale takeover, with increasing compulsion to adhere to an ideology which helps nobody. | 21 | "A future safer for women."During my mandatory ‘gender studies’ module at university on my English degree, we had a section on ‘masculinity’ which involved the entire group (almost all women) lambasting men and claiming how terrible we are. All the prompt questions were overlooked and people’s personal prejudice eclipsed everything so they could use the several hours purely to excoriate us.
