Haven't really had many problems, but I tend to stick with small(ish) businesses and startups. I enjoy my job, but I also work to live, not live to work.

First, you have to be mindful about the field your going into... you can easily get by without a degree in IT, Programming, or a variety of trade-skills; but there are a lot of careers when having a degree or getting promoted past a certain point is a requirement set in stone by company and industry policy. The only time I've experienced loneliness was when I was 15-16 and my hormones were raging out of control and every impulse in my body was to fuck. Beyond that, I've never actively wanted the company of others, although I'm not overly bothered by it in controlled doses.
