The Jones brothers are a good example. The two bigger, stronger, faster brothers went into Football. While Jon wasn't as good and went to MMA where he is the best LHW. If his brothers decided to fight MMA it isn't much of a stretch that they would also be elite.

We aren't talking about every single person alive. As with the MMA example, we are looking at people who had the apptitude to do it at an elite level but chose something similar but different due to it being more lucrative. Think the NFLer who could have been a world champ in MMA but went with the money route. Now what that alternative is to e-sports i don't know.

It's a question of what other opportunities do the female players have. MMA being a good example. Men in general think in a more factual/logical line than women which is beneficial in chess. As for more strategic, thats hard to say. Chess is such a narrow focus. On a battlefield there are far more peices to consider. Whose to say a women's way of thinking in that situation might not be superior.

Asthetics are just a way to quickly see how a person looks after themselves. Sure what a guy can do with his body is nice but it's not often you'll get a chance to see that for most guys. The guy that looks like he cares about his body is always going to be more appealing than the chubby guy that looks 100lbs overweight. Same rules apply to women. Now you can get around this but it takes time and we humans most definitely read the book by its cover.
