Currently reading both of these books as well. Another contradiction I found was the “stay at home wife” and how her responsibility should be raising her children and making sure the house is in order as well as always being her best self for her family. WMLB specifically says not to be reliant on your mans money and to have a safety net otherwise he feels like you’re dead weight. However, I have found compromise within the two books. In my opinion it all depends on where the relationship is.

I got me and my daughter matching ones from amazon and I’m in love with them. They also have a variety of different colors here

I was very weary to contact him because he hadn’t responded to my two previous texts and I didn’t want to seem desperate. But in the end I sent it for myself and didn’t care if he responded or not. It said “I’ve been thinking and I’m just a little confused. If you’re not interested in continuing seeing each other that’s totally fine I understand. But some closure would have been nice. Wish you the best.” I am definitely a late bloomer too! Girl my advice would be to 1. Be grateful of the experie…

It happens. I’m actually doing a lot better, after three days of no contact I sent him a message on Facebook and ended up getting a phone call with him apologizing and saying he just freaked out. We are talking again but I am far less invested and making sure I keep my options open this time. What helped me was switching my mindset and focusing on bettering myself. I watched napoleon hills laws of success on YouTube and that really helped put things in perspective.

Oopsies: lowered my standards because I really liked this man and got comfortable way to fast and invested way more than I should have. I let him see me in my house jammies that were less than flattering and gave up the cookie to soon and in turn got ghosted after two weeks of amazing conversation and connection. It sucks because I knew better and I dont think I’ll get another shot at him. Achievements: Have been dressing nicer for work and in general as well as keeping up with my appearance. De…

I have been on the keto diet and have lost 60+ pounds since March. It has been life changing. I stay fuller longer, have more energy, and my body is in the best shape I’ve ever been in. When I’m on a date and don’t want to be rude when he offers something I say something along the lines of “thanks that looks so delicious but I’m not eating carbs today.” So far nobody has gotten offended, I think it’s because they know having a good figure takes dedication.

In my above comment I clarified that the man I’m talking about is her father. I’m not trying to date at all, but since me and her dad are on good terms at the moment I’m trying to get advice on how to keep him from pulling away again. I want a family for my little girl and if it’s not with him that fine but I at least want to know that I did my best to try to make things work.

Yeah I should have put the whole context in there. The man is her father, and while I understand that I am responsible for two now I’m wondering if it’s worth it to tweak my qualities and be less assertive with her dad and more, I guess, ladylike. We dated for a couple months then split ways before I knew I was pregnant, we decided to go through with bringing her into this world. He ended up relapsing and has now been in rehab for several months which has led to us being on good terms once again…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
