1	Struggling with my faith That’s great, but how do you know it’s a miracle and not the treatment, or a false positive/negative? The list goes on. Furthermore, how do you quantify a miracle - is it something that measurably breaks the laws of the universe, or is it simply something natural, positive, and unlikely, which we invest meaning into? I lean towards the latter. I also had a cancer patient in my church who was “completely healed.” He died about a year later of cancer. Yeah, in my church the pastor would always go on and on about all the “miraculous things happening” and when you dug down into it, nothing miraculous was happening, he was just talking things up to excite an emotional response.
