1	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap Regardless of why they choose it, they do. The entire feminist discussion about the wage gap is not trying to trick everyone into thinking women should be paid more for doing less work, but why they are choosing less work in the first place. And the answer is because women in general actually do just as much necessary work as men, it's just that their efforts are more expended more in the home and raising children, which aren't valued the same was as the labor performed in the economy.
