> I've had several wonderful LTRs from 20-30 That' s something to brag about? If they were successful relationships, you'd wouldn't have split up.

What about divorced moms?
/r/MGTOW27/09/18 05:02 PM
1

That's what happens when people are hired for jobs they are unqualified for.
/r/MGTOW27/09/18 06:55 AM
1

Or get a job where you handle your own PM and aren't having to deal with these useless PM types.

Gotta love when they send emails copying management in an attempt to throw you under the bus.

. if she likes you she wants to be hitched and intermeshed deep within your life within those first 2 months True! And she will suck you dry (not literally)
/r/MGTOW27/09/18 06:31 AM

Thanks for posting that, have been thinking about going that route.
/r/MGTOW27/09/18 06:28 AM
2

Do you regret all of that fucking?
/r/MGTOW27/09/18 06:26 AM
1

I have a similar mindset. Management means you have less control over your success!
/r/MGTOW27/09/18 06:23 AM

Interesting story! Although I wonder if that's the exception and not the rule these days.
/r/MGTOW26/09/18 05:58 AM

Cool story bro
/r/MGTOW26/09/18 05:57 AM

That is messed up but does seem to be the way things work!
/r/MGTOW26/09/18 05:57 AM

Easy to do when you are in a market with plenty of jobs. Otherwise, easier said than done.
/r/MGTOW26/09/18 05:57 AM
2

Good points! Although most companies don't have much of a technical track and you have to get into management to make more money. Of course money isn't everything.

I'm leaning toward the second option, as difficult as it is. It's likely that the next gig would likely be more of the same.
/r/MGTOW25/09/18 05:22 PM

What's the answer to all this? Starting one's own business? Some have suggested to "do enough not to get fired" but I like to be productive although it does seem like going above and beyond is a sucker's game.
/r/MGTOW25/09/18 05:08 PM

If I have a creative opening, I'll get a high response rate (although yes, more post wallers than not). A lot of them are lazy and have one word/one sentence responses and expect the guy to do all the work to entertain them. Others might be capable of a two way conversation but you're forgotten the next day, even if it goes well, because some other dude will get her attention. Then there are the trolls that will insult you and bait you into an argument and then claims YOU are the one harassing H…

I work odd hours so that is a bit challenging. That's probably why I have gravitated to those sites because most people my age are at home or work at the time

BTW how about some fucking responses to this thread?

ask your self how many of these women actually looked how they looked online and were as interesting as they were online Tell me about it! They were usually fatter or older than they looked in their pics.
/r/MGTOW25/09/18 06:40 AM

Yep. I spend enough time on work tho. Maybe I will have to get back into gaming, haven't done much of that since the Super NES days.
/r/MGTOW25/09/18 06:39 AM

I have hobbies but it's difficult to find new buddies when past college age and beyond.
/r/MGTOW25/09/18 06:38 AM

I was watching a game at BW3 one time and this attractive woman sat next to me and we started talking and she seemed to be enjoying the conversation. Then she mentioned that her boyfriend was getting off work (he worked there) and then he came down and was probably thinking WTF but didn't say anything. It's probably not the first time she pulled that stunt.
/r/MGTOW25/09/18 04:28 AM

I have thought about delivering pizzas one night a week, enjoyed that gig when I was in high school.
/r/MGTOW24/09/18 04:14 AM

I do enjoy writing but no interest in publishing smut ridden stuff. I'd be more interested in more uplifting/inspiring stuff but perhaps there is not much of a market for that genre.

The thing is, I spend enough time on my main skillset that I'd want to do something different, but I see what you mean about leveraging one's skillset to get the most bang for your buck.

Yes perhaps but I don't live in an area with a lot of tech jobs. There's mostly just entry level stuff within a 50 mils radius.

Nope to the first two. I was wearing a hat and shades so they couldn't tell I looked like Brad Pitt's long lost brother.

Yeah, it was very subtle if they were trying to get my attention. I guess I could have moved but liked the view.
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 04:32 PM

Considering I was dressed like every other guy there, I guess I'd fall in the 80% category lol
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 04:31 PM
2

Maybe so, can't have a guy content by himself, right?
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 04:29 PM
1

How would they know? I kept my mouth shut and was dressed like just about every other dude there.
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 04:26 PM

no prob

Download a program called f.lux (it's free) and get some glasses that filter out the blue light (less than ten bucks on amazon).
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 06:31 AM
18

That's kinda what I suspected although I am horrible at picking up signs. Of course none of them would initiate a conversation. They did what they could to get my attention and then the burden was on me to interact. I just paid attention to the game and ignored them lol.

Yo! How about some more responses to this good thread?
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 04:51 AM

Seems that people with nothing saved get medicare/everything paid for and receive just as good care as those who have savings that could be depleted pretty quick anyway.
/r/MGTOW23/09/18 04:48 AM
6

I was tempted to reconnect after seeing one dude on facebook but decided not to. Guess we drifted apart and have not reconnected for a reason!
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 04:40 PM
7

Exactly! You can tell just by looking at their social media or dating profiles!
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 04:00 PM
9

What if your friends from grade school turned on you in high school. Would you try reconnecting?
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 03:59 PM
3

Same goes for POF and match.com? Seems like land whales and single/divorced moms are 90+% of the women in my age range there.
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 03:56 PM
1

So you recommend Leykis 101?
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 03:55 PM
2

Ah ok, I don't do that shit lol.
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 04:25 AM
2

How do the single moms know where to find you on IM?
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 03:26 AM

You want to see the most incompetent people possible? see an airline. That's scary
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 03:04 AM

Fired for merely asking for a raise? Geez. Maybe he should get a lawyer and sue for age discimination!
/r/MGTOW22/09/18 03:01 AM
2

Lol most of us aren't approached in bars anyway
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 04:39 PM
1

That's kinda fucked up to have to do that
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 04:39 PM
1

Why not just say he's divorced?
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 04:38 PM
0

So you profit off of their misery?
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 04:36 PM
8

LOL
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:27 AM
5

Are you going to tell him you were lying all along about being married? :)
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:17 AM
1

Snowy days? You must not have to commute in it. It can take more than twice as long to get to work. I figured the feeling in the air is more prominent in spring after a long/dark/cold/snowy winter. Maybe you live in a warmer climate in which the summers are miserable.
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:15 AM
1

That ship has sailed for the over 35 crowd
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:12 AM
1

The best? Nah Commuting in snow and ice sucks So does freezing ones ass off the first 10-15 minutes in the car Skin and lips get too dry, need to use hand lotion Air inside gets dry, need to keep refilling humidifier People tend to be crankier I guess it depends where you're at. There's a difference between the upper midwest and the southwest.
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:11 AM
1

I try to avoid instagram and other social media. Maybe this MGTOW thing is the best course of action after all.
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:03 AM
1

Even parents?
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:01 AM
2

And to buy them gifts for the upcoming holidays!
/r/MGTOW21/09/18 05:00 AM
4

Because it's trendy, eh?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:20 PM
1

Figured they prefer to wear sandals or flip fops since they all pretty much do (some even when it's cold)
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:20 PM
1

Exactly!
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:58 PM
4

My advice on friends: the real ones will actually listen to you if you’re having problems instead of judging or one-upping “you think you have it bad? Let me tell you why I have it worse”. Lol what if you have family members like this?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:55 PM
1

Work on your career and be denied promotion because you're not married, or a woman that is less skilled can get promoted so a quota can be reached.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:54 PM
1

Damn another case of female trickery! You guys got me ready to ghost this chick lol.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:45 PM
1

Damn! I always figured a bookstores or library would be the best place to meet quality women.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:45 PM
1

Yeah I've probably come across as a potential useful tool. Damn....is that the type of thing that drove you to MGTOW?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 07:05 AM
1

Interesting. Did you tell them your real age?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 07:04 AM
1

Exactly! It all takes too much time! Some of us have to work at work, and don't get paid to sit around and do nothing like a lot of them do. Just an average car and house, nothing to really brag about. I am almost 40, look 35ish, can maybe pass for 32. Figured 20 something would be too young at this point. Figured a older one would be less work since she wouldn't have as many dudes hovering around her.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 06:36 AM
1

Understood. Ever hear of Leykis 101? He would recommend to go as far as to use a burner phone, fake name, etc.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 06:26 AM
1

No offense taken but no interest in anything like that. I need to delete my profiles again, keeping going back to the online thing.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 06:22 AM
1

Every word said is pre-planned, tested, calculated, leveraged, telegraphed to soften up the mark, delegated by conspiring friends and family, tested on other men in other situations and APPROVED FOR COMBAT before being SAID TO YOU. Not sure if you're familiar with Tom Leykis but that's why he recommends never meeting her family/friends (or never letting her meet yours). I didn't react to her full time student thing so maybe that is what she has in mind. You were dating her when she was married?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 06:19 AM
1

Why can't men do the same?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 06:15 AM
1

Yeah pretty much. Just someone decent to hang out with every once in awhile. I was looking closer (less than 50 miles or so) and they're almost all fat and/or divorced moms. I'll get responses but if you don't spend all your free time online giving them attention then they will move on pretty quick. This one is content with a couple messages per day. There's not a whole lot that I want but she might want a whole lot more!
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:49 AM
1

Damn it's that bad out there?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:40 AM
1

I thought she would get a job and then support me so I can retire early! :) j/k She already has a Masters, good paying job, and looking to study for certifications. Although she did say that she would like to be a full time student if she were paid for it so you might be onto something!
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:38 AM
1

I was thinking just someone to hang out with a couple times a month. This all seems to be more hassle than it's worth. I have deleted my profile several times and keep going back even though I know it's not a good idea to get involved with any of them.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:29 AM
1

LOL
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 05:03 AM
1

It's really that bad out there? I don't get out much anymore.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:55 AM
1

1) Right now? Attention. 2) I don't know. Maybe she wants a sucker to support her when she goes back to school?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:53 AM
1

So you recommend ceasing contact? Should I give her a reason why?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:51 AM
1

I don't know. She complimented me tonight about being "smart", so basically playing chameleon and trying to lure me in, eh?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:27 AM
1

I've been monk but a little bored. Figured someone older with less SMV would be less work.
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:25 AM
2

Really? Think she's talking to a bunch of other dudes at her age?
/r/MGTOW20/09/18 04:24 AM

I had one of those at a previous employers. They brought in a 20 something to supervise 40 and 50 something tradesmen.

No interest in escorts After a certain age, it's difficult to make male friends.
/r/MGTOW19/09/18 04:20 AM
1

Thank for the tips. I tend to show teeth when I smile and will have to pay attention to that. My neutral facial expression looks angry or sad (you wouldn't believe all the women who told me that when I was in school) so I usually end up overcompensating by being too friendly with the smile. Awkward thing is we have these long corridors and sometimes you're the only two there.
/r/MGTOW19/09/18 04:19 AM
1

I'd say you're right on the money but she does have a good job in the medical field and makes good money. Not sure what her standard of living is though.
/r/MGTOW19/09/18 04:12 AM
1

I don't know, never tried it before. I'm thinking a 40 something would play along for a while and then want something more (esp after becoming an empty nester).
/r/MGTOW19/09/18 04:12 AM
2

She has a good career going and makes good money. But that doesn't mean you're wrong that she might want to quit! Duly noted
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 05:20 PM
2

Yikes!
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 05:19 PM

That's what I meant. I don't want to shack up with her.
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 05:00 PM
0

LOL well it's not like she's looking to get knocked up
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 04:56 PM
2

Yeah that seems to be the case but it's ridiculous to expect the other person to neglect their job, hobbies, interests just to entertain her especially when they haven't even met yet
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 04:36 PM
1

Do you smile? What if she tries to start a conversation and asks you a question?
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 06:25 AM
1

LOL you're not the only one that doesn't understand why they do it....or why companies legitamacize it.
/r/MGTOW18/09/18 05:49 AM

> A few ladies got mad at me because I don't text everyday and demanded why I didn't text them. These were women who I never had met or talked to on the phone.I kind of actually felt relieved when they said for me not to text them anymore because I didn't text them everyday LOL yeah what's up with these women that want to text right away (even before meeting) and expect you to entertain them all day and night? Forget that!

Funny exchange. One guy doesn't like talking to people. The other guy does. The guy that doesn't like talking to people wants to learn new languages (which involves talking to people) and be active in social hobbies. The guy that does like talking to people is content with doing nothing. LOL

Gotcha
/r/MGTOW17/09/18 04:35 PM

Wow. I knew about the government angle but wasn't aware of the lawyer thing. That's why I would never operate a business with more than a few employees.

Maybe so but these were not attractive women.
/r/MGTOW17/09/18 04:32 PM

America is a individualist geared society, yes. There are upsides and downsides to it and if you have a disposition in the US to withstand isolation you will generally go far in your persuits. Been there, done that. I've dealt with the same thing, numerous times! If there's a bug in some software I've written, the person will copy our management and pretty much act the same way. I've had to restrain myself a couple of times from sending something that would have made me look bad. And then it's wasting time on a tactful response that shouldn't be necessary to begin with.

As far as promotions go, what I'm finding is that my company is more concerned about meeting quotas than they are about employees that add to the bottom line. So much for career advancement.

Conditions in the corporate world seem to decline more and more every year. Sure as hell seems like it. They also made the office entirely open plan This seems to be a trend these days. I fail to see how this increases productivity. They hired a load of outsourcing firms and transferred their in house staff to contractors to save money. Which actually costs them at least double what they were paying beforehand. Ridiculous! It's ludicrous that so many unqualified people are in management and that…

This is ridiculous and seems to go on everywhere. It's like welfare for the upper middle class. Lots of incompetent males at the level as well. Maybe it's time that productive people stop spending their money at big companies.

The point? To point out how nasty some of them are. I didn't have this issue with the others I exchanged messages with. Maybe it just takes a lot longer for their mask to come off. Still debating whether or not to GMOW. I am almost there but haven't completely closed the door on them.

So how does one make male friends over 30 when just about every dude is tied up with a woman that doesn't want him hanging out with you? And the ones who aren't either have no money, are too busy to hang out with other dudes, work a lot, or think it's gay.

Anyone who says they don't care about ANY external validation at all is full of **it. Benefits - someone to go places with (eating out, sporting events, concerts, festivals, movies, etc), conversation, take to social events, cuddling, etc. There is more to a relationship than just sex.

What age range are you talking about here? I've considered dating older post wall 40 something divorced women (that still look decent) that were married for a long time. A little more mature and less vulnerable to the Kardashian type stuff. Regarding the kissing thing, it's a good thing the original Rocky movie wasn't made today!

The Mask Interesting point They are almost all friendly if you just meet them or barely know them. On dating sites, they all make themselves seem exciting and fun. Most women I meet IRL are friendly as well, at least when you first meet them, or if you see them every once in awhile. It seems that relationships go downhill once sex is involved. There is an unwritten rule that you owe her, at that point, but there is no written rule that says how much you owe her. So basically you're saying that t…

That's kinda the same routine I have but then I think there's something missing. Maybe it's the no friends to chat with as it's difficult to make friends when older. So I find myself gravitating to dating sites.
