It feels different than 2016. Maybe its the fact that he won the popular vote. In 2016, it felt like there was a radical minority that, by a perfect set of circumstances, was able to grab power undemocratically. This time, people knew what they were getting and the majority chose it. I felt angry the first go around - this time I'm strangely more apathetic. I'm done caring. If this is the country that people want, they can get it. I don't think they will like the outcome, but I'm not going to ha…

I think that is why spaces like ours here, which does not seek to return to old gender roles but wants to …

Just reading a few paragraphs of this is infuriating, I can't imagine having to deal with this experience and its repercussions for years. Stay strong. Good on you for trying to defend a minor, and all the worst on those who facilitate and empower abusers.

I have confronted 2 different friends in my life about behavior towards women that I thought was concerning. The conversations were not easy and in one of the cases, the friendship never recovered. A few years back I was working at a nonprofit with about 30 women and 2 men (one being me). We had a big fundraising event and the drinks were flowing pretty liberally. One of my drunk coworkers started to touch my face and I told her to please stop. Later in the evening, she then groped and tried to …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
