A nice post is a post made with the intention of no downvotes. A kind post is a post made to be shared genuinely, in spite of any potential downvotes.

As I've started working out and getting stronger, I've been letting myself relax a bit too much, thinking, "I'm at a good place, I can rest a bit / I need to rest." Lately, I've been imagining another me, the me I want to be, the eventual me, working out alongside. He's going at it with a more fluid, faster pace. This is pushing me to not slack so I can catch up to him. This relates to physical stuff, so it's easy for me to imagine a better me running in front of me. I'll be trying to apply this…

I like the inkblots idea. You can make the blots vaguely sexual, like images of a penis, reverse cowgirl positions, or whatever else. Easy set up to tease a girl for thinking dirty. But it should be ambiguous and not overt. I definitely agree with mrbrinks though. You can't attract by hiding your face behind a mask.

This is some great writing. Very motivating, logical, and on point. The idea of the definition of "best" being subjective and up to me is uplifting and freeing. And I'll have to remember to "remove all doubt" the next time I see a set. Thank you, I look forward to your next piece.

I think it's like holding a peace sign, but your index and middle finger close together instead of apart. Source: Chasing Amy, scene near the end when the best friends see each other again, silently asking if they're homo or hetero sexual.

I already live by that motto when catching actual buses, this'll be easy to ingrain into my brain!

"Girl, you look good in those heels, how much did they cost? I'm not sure if it is just the way you wear them or what, but they look expensive." He asked her about her shoes, indirectly compliments her by saying she makes them look better, which can be interpreted with or without interest. That's a helluva opener.

One thing to think about is how to keep the anti-seductionists out, yet accessible to the curious and willing. Maybe a passcode only PUA would know?

Personally, I think you guys are both right. And I love this high/low frequency analogy and I'm gonna work with it. What you transcribed from your friend really resonates with me. I'm the type of guy that IS low-key, the quieter type that has the inner monologues. And I plan on doing your method of talking slower and consciously hear what I'm saying as I'm speaking because I do stumble on my words often. However, I completely agree with Tofu as well. High frequency shows off your fun persona. An…

Baby steps. It's hard to be outcome independent in an instance. It's hard to take criticism lightly (especially for me, growing up in a typical asian household), and it's extremely hard to be completely fearless of rejection. Lately, I've been practicing eye contact, and smiling. Some girls smile back, some are bashful about it, other's don't even look at me. I forget to smile sometimes, or even end up looking down when I do make eye contact, but it's okay. I get over it and make sure I remember…

Let me preface by saying I'm nowhere near approaching girls yet, and I'm 24, nearly done with my undergraduate degree. But I've been in your shoes and slowly building my self-confidence. First of all, you have to defeat your self doubt by developing the awesomeness about yourself. Before that, you have to shut the fuck up about that 'loser talk'. Negative thoughts breeds more negativity, and no one wants to be around that. I've been there, it only brings depression. Find something to do that you…

The thing with friends is that they give you slack for being an your regular, oddball self. One of my good friends every now and then will straight up say how weird I am, but glad to be around me because of it. It makes me feel good to know I don't have to act a certain way around him. I'm currently in the opposite situation as you are in now. I have been practicing eye contact and smiling at strangers, but I've almost never engaged a set yet because I can't get over my irrational fear of having…
