Can you comment on the physical attractiveness of Billy vs. the 18 year old? Is Billy just average looking?

Isn't a logical consequence of what you are saying the fact that Chads should be the earliest to become fully aware of AWALT? Since their looks allow them to push through the N 20 and N 40 boundary by the end of their teens / college years? In this case, the perception that they are assholes is correct, but they weren't necessarily that way: they become assholes / jaded because of early AWALT awareness.

That's a very powerful comment - I can only hope you'll get the motivation to think about it more fully and develop it and post it as a separate thread.

Imagine a 2 by 2 matrix with four categories: A) hideous face & strong body B) hideous face & weak body C) hot face & strong body D) hot face & weak body It's a no brainer that women would most prefer (C) and least prefer (B). But the interesting unanswered question is whom would they choose to fuck if the choice were between males from categories (A) versus (D) only.

Both here and at MGTOW there have been numerous anecdotes of men refusing to check out girls in public and them going nuts at the offense. So you devalue them by looking, and you devalue them by not looking. How can one win?

Your theory seems to imply that we should soon witness a mass conversion of blue pill men into MGTOW/herbivore men...Yet, often on this sub-reddit we hear that blue pill men are so indoctrinated / deluded, that they are beyond salvation (aka swallowing the red pill). Thoughts?

To better appreciate how far you've got, it would be useful to know the basic parameters that you have to work with: height; skin color; facial attractiveness on a 1-10 scale; basic body type, before TRP (fatty type, skinny type, naturally athletic type); Thanks in advance!

This post would have been good if you haven't conflated and mangled three distinct types of meditation, thereby sowing confusion: breathing meditation OR focus on body awareness OR focus on emotions and accepting them as they arise. In any given session, one should stick to only one type, otherwise the mind is not focused.

I bet many readers instantaneously applied the archetypes of alpha and beta to the lover and the boyfriend, respectively...BUT it is totally possible that her boyfriend actually looks like a top-of-the-shelf Chad: she's not cheating because he's ugly or boring, she's cheating simply because he's far away. I wonder if OP has actually seen the boyfriend's photo and can comment?

Other people definitely do NOT believe that you are gay. They punish you for disobeying the social norm that women are to be deemed valuable, and therefore worthy of pursuit. They punish you by making it come across your way that there are rumours that you are gay. Nobody believes that. But they do know that it hurts deeply into the self-esteem or "amour-propre" of a straight man to be suspected of homosexuality and use that knowledge to hurt you. Their hope is: let him know that people rumour h…

Your description of BB is clear for the case of a boyfriend who supports financially and otherwise the girlfriend. But what about the case where the two live separately and when they go out or travelling they share expenses 50/50? Can you still say boyfriend = provider = BB?

It depends also on the type of skeleton you are born with: you can be tall and skinny with low shoulders to hip ratio --> unattractive you can be tall and skinny with high shoulders to hip ratio (i.e. genetically athletic body: broad shoulders and narrow hips) --> attractive (the slender hot teenager boy look) My best friend is the latter case: he has never been to the gym once in his life but his naturally athletic skeleton coupled with a good tan makes him very attractive. Strange and curious that in a sub-reddit full of people who consider themselves beyond illusions and ideology, capable of accessing reality as is (Blue Pill vs. Red Pill), the basic truths you described in your post get downvoted with so much fervor. You must be really deluded if you think a 55 year old is higher SMV than his earlier 30 year old self. Some girls do have a kink for "daddies", but almost none wants "granddaddies" whose testicles reach their knees and whose sagging thinning armpit skin reaches their elbow...

I thought it was obvious from what I wrote that I agree with everything you said: I was trying to speculate as to why the majority at the TRP don't give plastic surgery the attention and discussion it deserves.
/r/TheRedPill05/08/17 08:54 PM

I think the TRP diffidence toward plastic surgery comes from a mixture of masculinist ethos and just world fallacy: If I put in the effort (lift, diet) --> get rewarded with pussy. Those who don't get pussy --> get what they deserve because they don't put in the effort. Plastic surgery digs under the fence instead of climbing it, metaphorically speaking. It is seen as a kind of cheating (= not paying your dues in sweat and effort and sacrifice and self-denial), which is seen as non-masculine. A …

Isn't it the case that women get wet at convicts, at troublemakers and outlaws, at guys with big scars, and guys who start fights and are capable of winning them? Isn't that what they perceive and feel to be a true alpha? Alpha =/= maturity. Maturity is a beta trait = good provider (responsible, cautious, calculating, thoughtful, planning ahead). Alpha is aggressive, intimidating, and doesn't give a fuck if he ends up in jail or with scars. Unfortunately that's what get girls wet.

Also at your age many guys confuse shallow facial unattractiveness (e.g. shitty skin with lots of pimples that can easily be fixed) with the deep type (bone structure and overall underlying morphology). In my post I assume you have the deep type, but if it's just super-shitty skin there are a lot of options for fixing that.

It's clear that sooner or later your ultimate bottleneck to top-shelf girls is going to be your face. So I would focus my efforts there, in two stages: A) shallow (while still a poor student): Experiment with multiple versions and combinations of the following four things: 1. hair colour (dying it); 2. different haircuts; 3. growing a beard or moustache or stuble 4. trying different types of glasses and sunglasses; You might be lucky and hit upon a good combination of the above four variables th…

Depression = apathy, anhedonia, inability to feel; Therefore, your theory is wrong. Anti-depressants are supposed to snap you out of your inability to feel. Do not make the common errror of mistaking sadness for depression. They are very different phenomena.

You seem to think in terms of "high" or y axis: how intense is the feeling. I think it's more useful to think in terms of areas/surfaces determined jointly by y axis (intensity) and x axis (durability/how long can you typically sustain a given state at a given level of intensity). Also, some highs come with crashes soon after: ranking them independently of this fact thereby gives a misleading picture.

"No man is a hero to his valet": even if your SMV stays the same, the very act of cohabitation means that she will eventually find out you are just an average human, and not a hero: you fart, you shit and it smells bad, you get tired, you have bad days, you get emotional, you get despondent, you clip your nails and she sees the disgusting clippings, you eat onion and your mouth smells like shit, you don't look as nice in home clothing, you snore, etc. etc. One more reason to never cohabitate: by…

Yesterday during my evening walk I was struck by the following distinction: there is benign aging: it's mostly getting fat and getting bald or grey; so you can do something about it: diet + shave your head, etc. but what struck me was "sinister aging": I saw guys who still had their hair (often not greying yet) and who were lean, and yet even though their shape was great, I could spot from a big distance that they were old: it was difficult to pinpoint exactly how my brain computed that they are…

Also, remember your starting point (Bayesian Prior): if you are 5'9", 230 lb, bald, and brown, what you think is a green signal, is probably green in your head - she's unlikely to want you. On the other hand, if you are 6'2", 169 lb, ripped, hot, etc., your perceived yellow signal is probably green...it seems yellow because of your low self-esteem, etc. So, when interpreting signals (Bayesian updating with new evidence), always factor in your starting point (Bayesian prior: are you generally hot…

A significant share of MGTOW and TRP users think of gay culture as one of the symptoms of the "degeneracy" of Western culture. You can spot that share by noticing how they are obsessed with "cultural Marxism" & tend to be prone to conspiracy theories.

People use the healthiness of these foods to rationalize eating excessive amounts of them, which means too many calories. It's very easy to overdo it when you have as an excuse the healthiness of the food to binge on (guilty as charged...).

How do you deal with the aesthetic impact of skin's loss of elasticity? I always use this as my guide when trying to detect guys who pass for younger than they actually are. Close attention to the quality of their skin (summertime; not on face) easily betrays the disgusting signs of sagging, of lost elasticity and freshness. Good luck getting that one back.

Only partly agree. Bosses are scary because they do ask lots of questions trying to assess your performance. Because of the power structure, you owe them an answer. The widespread institutional logic of accountability means that they ask and you provide answers, and you are judged for those answers. In short, asking questions =/= submissive or beta. Also, your example "Where do you want to go eat?" --> "I don't know" cannot be better rephrased as "I haven't decided yet" because that's simply aut…

I for one found your "case study" very weak. You presume things about Nick you can't possibly know, unless you are him. And the so-called self-destructive behavior of orchestrating the two girls to see each other might have been the result of Nick applying or mis-applying the Red Pill: getting the two girls to be jealous, to compete for him, leveraging social proof, etc. By the way, the bullshit research by Carol Dweck on static mindsets has failed many replicability tests and is now quickly bec…

A much more likely explanation for this pattern is that you are facially rather average/invisible/mediocre, so when they get to see your body they get to look at something that is 10/10. So the negative impact of your 5/10 face gets beneficially averaged up with the 10/10 body, and voila 7.5/10.

I think it would be useful if you differentiate between the benefits of (a) not being fat and (b) being muscular. In the case of (a) there is a malign reinforcing feedback loop between putting on fat and increased estrogen levels, which in turn are associated with increased risk of cancer. But I don't know much about the relationship between muscle mass and resilience to cancer.

You underestimate how much we want to be surrounded by beauty. Even if you're not gay, you'd still find it more enjoyable to have hot same-sex friends, independent of any hopes that that company would attract the interest of women. In other words, beauty is a universal, it transcends gender.

Maybe you were genetically lucky, but I know lots of guys who go to the gym and eat healthy who begin to show signs of aging in their late 20s and early 30s (greying hair, receding hairline; thinner hair; wrinkles of the anti-attractive variety; increasingly inelastic and old-looking skin; yellower eye balls, etc.). Shame is an evolutionary response: by cheating on you, she is broadcasting to the community that you have low SMV, hence future women should avoid you (small dick; loser; etc.). So a man feels shame as a rational emotion: the fear of his low SMV becoming public knowledge, as the community learns that the girlfriend cheated on him.

Exactly, if you check all the boxes in your 20s, the downhill of aging will reduce your SMV because you have no box to check to compensate, as it were. If you are fat or poor in your 20s, and hit the gym in your 30s and get a great job, then yes, your SMV will increase in your 30s, but again, not BECAUSE of aging, but IN SPITE OF IT (in that the improvements in SMV brought about by weight loss and higher income overshadow and exceed the underlying biological degradation). No way to escape the 2n…

But it' not BECAUSE of aging that they increase in SMV, it's IN SPITE OF IT, because they use the elapsed time to improve, so the curve of improvement is steeper and masks the underlying slope of biological decline. As the body ages, eventually the improvements can no longer mask the underlying slope of biological degradation, but the slope has been there all along.

The dude is worried that aging will steal his looks and falls prey to the Freudian mechanism of reaction formation whereby he begins to portray aging as supposedly increasing attractiveness. Nope, doesn't work that way.

Hmm, something doesn't add up: how would you rate your facial attractiveness on a 1-10 scale? It doesn't quite make sense otherwise why a tall college athlete wouldn't be highly desirable in his student years...

Elaborating in a different post and adding nuance and analysis to the idea that love is like shitting would be a useful contribution. A nice vaccine against Blue Pilled Hollywood-Disney brainwashing.

Re: You are counting the evidence twice: I did mention that there are variables such as weight loss, grooming, style, clothing, that can be changed. So you cannot count facial structure (i.e. the genetic morphology of your facial bones) as changeable, because the little things that can be adjusted to make your face look better have already been mentioned under "variables you can change". Same for your other pseudo-rebuttals.

The "Do I know you?" reply you get makes me guess that in terms of facial morphology you are only average or below average. There are limits to how much lifting can pull you up in SMV. Specifically, the structure of physical attractiveness: Variables one cannot change: facial structure height skeletal frame (ectomorph/mezomorph/endomorph) age penis size race/ethnicity voice timbre Variables one can change: grooming/cleanliness style/clothing weight muscle/fitness posture/demeanor

The logical conclusion of your post is "use prostitutes, don't waste your time with regular women". With the former, it's a clear and simple cash transaction. And you avoid all the taxing mental effort and transaction costs of devising schemes of intermittent reinforcement for the latter.

That plan sounds like beta bux, no? The main thing you plan on offering girls (by association with you) is wealth & job prestige, aka the definition of a beta.

"Love turned to misery and mutual misery turned to exclusively hate". TRP wisdom aside, congratulations for this sentence! I really love the subtle move forward or subtle sense of dynamism created by the fact that you modified misery on the 2nd occurrence: you didn't say "love turned to misery and misery turned to hate" but "love turned to misery and MUTUAL misery turned to hate..." - that particular move was like a linguistic jewel I couldn't help but appreciate.

Meet your soul mate: http://www.freedomthirtyfiveblog.com/ PS: I recall from reading financial blogs that the dangers of leverage are usually summarized in the saying: "The market can stay low longer than you can stay solvent". Even if a set of assets is on an upward trend, that trend usually has bumps. If you get a margin call when there is a dip, and you can't pay back, you will be bankrupt regardless of the long-term upward trend. Read Savage's book "The flaw of averages".

In my experience in situations like this, those dependent on you secretly resent you. That's quite a different social context & I would not venture into calling them "friends".

You know the asset is appreciating only retrospectively. So your guide suffers from a selection effect: if you look only at the wealthy people you oversample those lucky folks who got leverage and invested in appreciating assets. But you don't sample at all the homeless who also got leverage but had the bad luck of investing in depreciating assets, got a margin call, and filed for bankruptcy. A proper research design would begin with 1000 people who start leveraging today and then measuring thei…

Wealthy people always complain that they are never sure of their "friends", hence the recommendation to practice stealth wealth. Your so called friends take advantage of your money. And if girls come to you because of your money, not looks, that's the definition of beta: the provider. Unlike the typical beta, who gets only one female parasite to take care of, you get 11: a landwhale girlfriend + 10 male "friends". Talk about inefficiency...

Of course, one difficulty with the male shit tests is: if the guy on the path to self-improvement has improved a lot, this means he became an alpha. But if he truly became an alpha, and alpha means dominance and respect of peers, it shouldn't be the case that his peers berate him or put him down. It should be the case that he generates follower behavior in his peers who would automatically look up to him as a leader/alpha and do what he says. If this doesn't happen, maybe the would-be alpha hasn…

The weak point in your analysis is that the guy is rarely alone with the girl, and the presence of other guys anchor the girl in reality and enable her to compare. As it was said, "comparison is the thief of joy". All the bullshiting and the smokes and screens won't do you too much good when (a) she's on Tinder comparing hundreds of profiles or (b) she's in a club, with lots of guys vying for attention. In addition to the anchoring in reality provided by the simultaneous presence of other dudes,…

Not much, except for (a) a long-term toll to self-esteem from being ridiculed by the socially successful (he is hot, but dumb; etc) and (b) less overall freedom, in that less money = more constrained life.

I would imagine a (x,y) simple system of two axes: the vertical (y) measures physical attractiveness, and the horizontal (x) social status (education, job prestige, income). In the upper right corner you have the alpha. In the lower right corner you have the beta. In the upper left corner you have the fuckboi. In the lower left corner you have the basement loser. If you are anywhere but in the upper right corner, you've got a problem... The y axis itself is calculated in an additive manner from …

Game theoretical calculus is premised on the stability of preferences. But isn't there culturally enshrined doubt about the stability of women's preferences? (fickle, capricious, whim-bound, feelz over reals, impulsive, etc)

"to play the plate game optimally you must always be hunting for women. Always always always. Until your last breath. You must utilize all dating sites". So much for the claim that the Red Pill isn't about chasing pussy. The very fact that this post got so many upvotes, confirms that people here on TRP are much closer to PUAs than to MGTOWs. What's the motivation for the post? Is your ranking of 8 mostly due to genetics, or you were an ugly fat a while ago and you became an 8? If the latter, I understand the desire to give back to the community. If the former, however, what gives? A superiority complex?

I took the time to read all the three threads, as this type of topic interests me. My conclusions: (1) Your reaction to him propositioning you is homophobic and out-of-line: it is not the case that he grabbed you physically or that he tried to suck you while asleep. You were both awake and he gently brought the topic of being interested in you. It's a vulnerable moment for any person, and instead of letting him down nicely (Hey dude, I'm flattered, but I have zero interest in guys. You coming ou…

You haven't made any comments on the genetics of the guys who score without any effort. Have you by any chance notice some pattern...for example, that hot guys are the ones who score, whereas the ugly remain alone in the shadows? Or do you mean to say that ANY guy who goes to college just needs to show up at a bar and the sororities will come to proposition him?

Can you enumerate the types of aesthetic surgeries you have had? And what was the process like? Was there some overall assessment of innate ugliness that then got broken down into feasible piecemeal surgical corrections? Or were the interventions dictated by price? Or the doctor just did what you told him to do? How long did it take between the surgeries and you looking decent enough to go out again in public? (I assume there is some inflammation and redness in the days/weeks after).

Your post sings the praises of Red Pill men so well, that one is compelled to wonder why not fall in love with such fellow men instead of these vapid women. If men have all these attractive qualities what's the mental obstacle to admiring and falling for them? Rhetorical question, to Mother Nature, of course :)

How women are is a problem less immediate for your happiness than the more obvious one that emerges from your post: holding on to the toxic belief that living life without a girlfriend is incorrect/boring/wasteful. I find at least two of those three adjectives alarming and more to be expected from incels and blue pillers than MGTOWs and Red Pillers. When you use such adjectives, the matrix is still speaking through you. That's where I would start: inwards, not outwards (girls will be girls).

The only real reason parents ask this over and over again is because deep down they worry you might be gay, which would bring shame to the family and concern about your future. So, in my experience, as long as you make it clear that you are sexually attracted to girls only, they will drop the questioning. "He's still young, he's exploring, he hasn't found the right one yet, he's shy blah blah". The main issue is to reassure them that you are 100% straight. That's what really worries parents (tak…
