I don't want that for you either, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I'll keep you in my prayers, please stay strong x

You deserve a man who'll treat you with respect, from the sounds of things he's been far from respectful. The rest of your letter sounds strong and confident, especially with the change you made. Stay strong, you deserve to be treated right and you can absolutely lay down the law and tell him straight. If he doesn't listen or change his ways then you absolutely have to follow through and walk away from him and the marriage. Otherwise, it'll show him that he can keep mistreating you, and you'll b…

Cut out this section: and have recovered my self esteem through self help therapy to the point where i It's not really relevant and shows weakness on your part, it is better to say something clean and firm like: this is the final straw, I'm not co dependent on you and I refuse to be treated like this any longer. I'm sorry you're going through this and I understand why you want to save the marriage too even if it seems like it'd be better to just end it now. Whatever happens I wish you all the be…

You're welcome! Your hearts in the right place but it's just not a good idea, hopefully things change and it gets better soon x

I agree with the other commentor here, it's best to stay out of it. As much as it hurts you'll end up doing something similar to what your sil is doing: getting involved in someone else's marriage. I know it's hard to watch, it's horrible for her husband and child too and the whole situation sucks, but it isn't your place to get involved. It'd open up a whole can of worms and potentially cause a rift between your husband and his brother if they see it as their wives are arguing. Focus on your ma…

My little girl starts school tomorrow and I'm feeling so excited for her but a little bit sad too. I'm going to miss her during the day but I know that she's going to have an amazing time there. The class is small and the teacher is lovely so I know in my heart she'll be fine, can't help but be a little emotional over it though!

I don't get it either, what's empowering by taking on both roles and rendering your man to nothing more than an accessory? Being the breadwinner and doing the majority, if not all of, the household tasks will lead to resentment when you see your guy just lounging about and doing absolutely nothing of value. It's not conducive for a happy marriage/family life. Honestly, feminism is such a lie. Who benefits from women being the breadwinners really? Who benefits from the liberal approach to casual …

My children are fantastic and I love them to bits, but I miss having a little bit of alone time. I'm always doing something with them or for them but very rarely if ever do I get to do something for myself. I Co Sleep with my baby and I'm breastfeeding him so I don't even get night time to myself. It's rare that I even get to shower or use the toilet alone too. It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes. I guess I'm just curious how other mothers cope? Do you get help from your husbands or extended fa…

That's such a lovely story! 🤗 For me, my guy is looking after our two children tomorrow morning so I can go enjoy seeing a film for my birthday. He surprised me with it a few days ago and told me not to worry about anything, he's got it covered and that I deserve to enjoy myself for a little while, especially since its my birthday. It genuinely surprised me. He's always thoughtful of me and does his best for me and the kids but I really wasn't expecting such a lovely offer. I haven't had some ti…

That's fair, there's nothing wrong with dressing up but it's weird how something like that can effect another person!

My partner likes when I dress up for special occasions, but I think if I did it every day he'd react similarly to your husband. I think you're right that he just needs some time to get used to your new style, there's something comforting in seeing your partner how you're used to seeing them and any changes can be a little jarring. I know my guy doesn't like it if I wax my legs or wear make up since it makes me look less like a normal person if that makes sense. Seeing my bare face and hairy legs…

Probably yes. There's a few apps and websites that show you what you can look like with different hairstyles and colours, so it might be worth having a look on those before making a decision. If you're feeling confident and want to try it then go for it! If you end up not really liking it don't worry, it'll grow back :)

It really depends. My sister has gorgeous red hair and she always wore it long, recently she cut it into a lob with a fringe/bangs and it totally transformed her. The whole hairstyle highlighted her delicate features and she looked much more feminine than she ever did with long hair. I'm the opposite, I look better with my hair longer and I feel much more feminine when it's longer too. It's easier for me to style and maintain when it's longer and just works better with my features and dress sens…

I have heard from others that is is quite common for straight women to watch solo videos and lesbian content. Not because of the women themselves but rather because of the idea of the sexual activity Is this true? From what I remember from my university studies, yes this is true. Women are more likely to watch lesbian porn because of the focus on female pleasure and orgasm. Since straight porn tends to be geared more towards men in terms of what they like to see and how they reach orgasm, lesbia…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
