Where I live there is no Boy scouts or Girl scouts, only Scouts. They did it really well and I never thought that it was an issue. This might not be the case with the US' Scouts though.

Yeah. I'm Canadian and I was taught to just be kind with everyone equally. However, I agree that women and childrens don't have the same physiology than men and, usually, aren't as strong. For this reason I try to do the work that requires more strength. I guess that education also has a large role in how everyone acts towards different genders. So, if you're going to work in education, do your best! You'll be shaping the future.

That was a long time ago. I highly doubt that they would force you out of a lifeboat just to save women first now. They might do it for a child though.
