Given the opportunity, most people will screw you over to get something for themselves.

There is definitely an inequality in the "justice" system. 40 years ago Richard Nixon wrote that until we can discuss these kind of sensitive topics-race, gender, lifestyle, religion-without getting all bent out of shape we will probably never solve them. I don't think we're at the point where we can discuss it, but that time seems to be coming. I've seen Men's Rights topics in the mainstream media. That's hopeful. When I brought these topics up 20 years ago I got shouted down or called a crackp…

My first wife cheated and it was subtly obvious in many ways. He had to be a giant schmuck with his head buried in the sand to not realize long before that she was unfaithful. Seems like he was willing to be the cuckold till they divorced.

That is certainly a different take on this case. My guess would be he was angry with her and didn't completely think through the consequences of his seeking these tests. But that is complete conjecture. On a different note, my wife gave a son up for adoption when she was a teen. She loved her son and it broke her heart but she knew she could not give him a stable decent life as a single teen Mom. Fast forward 18 years and she got in touch with him. He had an attitude of, "Well I'll meet you but …

Son and a daughter, who ended up having two different other men as fathers.

You are correct. It is not what you'd really like to get but it is something nonetheless.

I think if the honest truth could be discussed most of these male teens who sleep with older teachers are no different than kids that have sex with other women. I have met lots of guys who lost their virginity to one of their Mom's friends or an older neighbor. To me it seems all a part of sexual exploration that it typical of that age. The outrage seems fake and forced, sort of the same as the reaction to men like Tiger Woods.

It could be easily accomplished at the hospital with a quick cheek swab.

It wouldn't for me. But I have seen cases where one parent poisoned the kids against the other but they eventually realized the lie and it came back to hurt the lying parent much worse.

That was my initial thought. Having raised three kids in a household where I was the only wage earner I can attest that it costs a lot more than $40,000 to raise them. But the detail is he paid $25,000 in child support after they split. The judge awarded that and an extra $15,000 for "bereavement".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
