If you have the chance of getting your bro laid, improving your relationship, which will improve you as a person, it will show girls you're an awesome as fuck dude. Also, you have the opportunity of having a best friend for life. (Also, making sure your little bro doesn't end up ODing on painkillers b/c he's lonely or something like that)

This night vary based on people. I think it's all about the spin you put on after it. Like let's say you share "x happened" and you haven't had the chance to emotionally process it and put a positive spin on it like "I learned Y about myself from it". I think if you have the positive spin from it, it shows that you've processed it already, and don't have the emotional baggage related to it (also probably body language and eye contact as well)

Sounds like you're saying you have trouble being social with girls and other people in general unless you're drinking, is that right? What's it like when you're sober in those situations?

The undergrads I "met" were all from tinder pretty much.

I wish I had more to contribute than just this I completely Agee that being vulnerable is essential to build connections. There's a couple good books by brenee brown about the subject. Courage to be vulnerable I think? Actually I think I have something that might help. I'm studyng to be a social worker, human connection building is key to this line of work. Recently, had a guest speaker in one of my classes talk about his experience as a big bad director of mental health services. You know what …

Look up cognitive distortions in google. You're basing all of your self worth on things that are bullshit indicators of self worth. Having held a girls hand at age 21 isn't that farfetched in terms of the human condition. It's happened to millions of people before you. Millions of people have gone through what you're going through, and you can do it. You can change.
