Ben Shapiro is a professional instigator and a troll, the more controversial his takes the more visibility he receives. He is for all intents and purposes, a political, Jewish, Stephen A Smith. If you're taking him seriously you need to re-evaluate

He has had creepy conversations with multiple teenage girls. He is not someone I immediately leap to defend. While he was exonerated of his DV charges the behavior that was uncovered in the investigation is enough that Rick and Morty is more than justified in keeping their distance

I responded to the comment very recently, I don't want to link it and get into trouble. I was a little tired this morning when I saw it but I believe it was a serious comment, I just noticed the person was responding to themselves

I'm sorry I thought identifiable social media was for dumb opinions no one cared about. At least that's what it seemed like before I deleted all mine a few years back

I was under the impression that the driver saw the profile of the rider before accepting and always had discretion over whether or not they'd accept the fare

Seems like men aren't people if they aren't enforcing rule 1.

I'm not from Texas but I won't ever be convinced to turn my neighbors in for a quick couple bucks, for any reason, hope you don't find anyone and your subreddit dies

Actually if you'll watch again, after the initial fall she walked over to him and raised her hands as he began standing, and anyway, that wasnt my point, she wasn't over there to say sorry or make him feel safe. She wanted the fight to keep going. His escalation was probably further over the line than either of them will be happy with the next day but in the end it's what she was asking for, not everyone is stable

Yeah I'm torn, seems like he dodged a little too hard and fell down, but she definitely wanted that result and came over acting like she wanted to keep going

People who want to control speech can make a word into whatever they want. It's an epidemic here in the states.

That's a good thought too, why not just call him? The school would probably be a dead end, just saying they didn't know about any specific pickup protocol. Maybe she said he was depressed and would harm himself or the child if he knew police were involved. She could have made up any number of things or used something from his past to make it seem like he was dangerous.

The police in not such blunt words basically said the mother of the child lied. The spokesman from the CBC article said "sometimes in these situations we are working with only one side of the story". So the mother could have said anything. What's mind blowing is that the custody agreement should've been available for police, but still an innocent person was arrested and questioned over malicious and easily disprovable lies.

"real" push-ups. I think it's unfair either way though. Are criminals that the female cops potentially grapple with going to be 1/3 the physical strength of the ones the men deal with? I get that a gun is a trump card in hand to hand combat situations like that, but a certain level of physical strength could be required for a number of emergencies that come to mind outside of conflict too. Point being, no offense meant here, unless you're a particularly strong and fast woman, you shouldn't be do…

Women in police academy training (in my state) are required to do 9 push-ups for their PT test. Male applicants are required to do 30. There are other large differences in the tests but that's the big one I remember
