6	It's stuff like this that really pisses me off... the petition writer admits that there is no proof, but look at how many signatures this petition already has. It doesn't matter what the facts are, only that she's a woman that killed a man. this might not make be popular but... If the decision to let her be with the grand kids for a final Christmas or two was solely up to me I would let her. I would not really take into account the fact that she murdered somebody, or that the husband had or had not been abusing her. Do you think it was right to publish the names of victims of sexual assault? The mirror has signed up to a code of practice. In that code it states "The press must not identify victims of sexual assault" How else should we try and hold the press to account when they do not follow there own code of practice? I have now a response. my response was: Dear (pcc representative) In the strongest possible terms I believe that this is of 'exceptional public interest' and would wish for the Commission to proceed with an independent complaint. The mirror online published the name of what I would consider a rape victim, the mirror.co.uk its self refers to the man as a victim of sexual assault. I have only in the last couple of days started to articulate my feelings on this, so my thoughts are only partially formed. you'll find instead that most agree that equality is about equality and that the men's rights movement is but a small part of that goal.
