6 albums isn't a contract, it's a life sentence. Also It's Sony... there are few entities I have as little sympathy for. *edit - I'm quite neutral to her plight as well, honestly. I just dislike Sony more.

Very possibly, I only wanted to illustrate that it's entirely possible for them to be removed.

Judges can be terminated for unethical behavior. It depends on the state and obviously somewhat on politics, but for instance one judge who faked death threats was shown the door very quickly.

As do corporations, or indeed any social unit of human organization.

No idea, she represents upstate anyway so I guess they like her stance on guns, or something.

I don't really think it's malignant as that - certainly useful in the case of Assange and others to discredit them - but as something growing in that time period it would have been very necessary for wealthy benefactors with the education, free time and political connections to champion the movement. Either way, framing is as a left vs right wing issue doesn't make sense - the only place Feminism meets left wing ideologies is in asking for individual empowerment and fair income for everyone and …

It may be a left v. right issue, but not in the way you think it is. The left occupies a far wider political spectrum than the right, and with the way most of the recent cases of third wave feminism over-stepping the bounds of reason have been exploited, it's almost like a cynical person would think this is being used as a social wedge to drive the left further apart. Gillibrand's behavior, as a Hillary-clinton esque flip-flopper who serves a corporate agenda over that of her constituents like i…

In general, I have a feeling this is what a society in decline looks like. People fracturing into belief-driven echo chambers and failing to reach out and find common ground to work together.

Then perhaps said loved ones should be a little more helpful instead of harping on about selfishness, just a thought :)

Suicide isn't selfish at all, it's what you do when you're in great pain and you can see no other way out. It's like being in a high rise building fire where the only way to get free of the flames is to jump out of the window. By the time you hit that point, the pain is really drowning any other considerations out. It's not selfish, but I doubt you can be reasoned with on this issue.

As with any medical professional, it's a crapshoot and sometimes you have to shop around before you get to someone you can deal with.

This really needs to be put in more context. Judges shouldn't just yell at you for reading something you're putting your signature on.

I'd consider it the ramblings of a couple of air-headed kids more than a gender issue.
