2	Why do men have drastically lower (meaning actually realistic) standards? I believe men in their 30s have amassed more wealth and now appeal to both young women and women of their own age. according to the sexual economic theory, you as a male at that point can now choose a younger woman in her prime. Women in their 30s still believe they are of sexual value to a man and now try to appeal a man who now has the appeal of the younger woman.
